«Breaking News» Dancing On Ice's Jason Gardiner brands Gemma Collins 'A FRIDGE'

His bitter feud with Gemma Collins has been the talk of this year's Dancing On Ice.

And despite insisting he is 'over it' and that he 'doesn't hold a grudge', Jason Gardiner couldn't help but make a spiteful swipe at the former skating contestant during an interview ahead of Sunday's grand finale - leading to Gemma hitting back on social media.

Appearing on Tuesday's This Morning, Jason replied 'who?' when hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield mentioned that Gemma would make a return for one last skate at the weekend.

Jason said of Gemma: 'Oh I thought that was a refrigerator.'

He added: 'I'm over it. I don't hold a grudge, I don't really know the woman. And in one final there are enough things to be worried about.'

Gemma briskly took to Instagram to post: 'I’m really tired of being BULLIED by this man... I wish you would stop... it’s very very upsetting and hurtful.

'Let it go Jason stop bullying me ENOUGH is ENOUGH I won’t be bullied any more. Making me feel uncomfortable to come back to the final on Sunday!'

Sure to rub salt into the wound, Jason was sure to gush about the three finalists that will compete to win on Sunday - Wes Nelson, Sara Aalto and James Jordan.

Of the latter, he said: 'He had to unlearn years and years of habits of being a top dancer to learn to skate.'

Of Wes, he said: 'Wes I really like. He is a natural. He doesn't have the same fears as people who are a bit older about falling on the ice. He's 20 so he bounces back, he has resilience.

'Had he started younger, it could have been a different story for Wes. He didn't have any dance background or skate background. He's really applied himself.'

A few weeks ago, Gemma also appeared on This Morning, and hit out at acid-tongued judge Jason for 'fat-shaming' her as she laboured to keep up with consistently better skaters on the hit show.

Adopting a conciliatory stance towards him Gemma said: 'He is there to do a job after all. It’s just when he body shamed me, the first form of defense is attack. 

'He body shamed me so I went on the defensive. I would have loved to have been spun around for a count of eight, but I couldn’t. 

'When he said I wouldn’t be able to be lifted - yeah, we know that Jason, no need to say it.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
