«Breaking News» Man's SUV gets trapped in a sinkhole after he drove around cop car that was blocking off the area

This is the moment a car got stuck in a Florida road after ignoring police efforts to help motorists avoid the area.

In the clip the vehicle is seen having already plunged into the hole in the road in the city of Orlando.

The Monday afternoon incident was filmed by spectators in a building above the action who saw the action take place before the camera started rolling.

'Oh my god. Did this just happen?' one person behind the camera is heard saying.

'Yeah about five minutes ago,' the other replies.

Police officers reportedly urged the man in the car to leave his SUV, which was stuck in the road as water gushed from the ground.

He drove around a police car only to go diving into the flooded area. A passerby is seen filming the action below

It was due to a water main break on the avenue. It got 'busted after a city bus damaged a patch in the road', the person recording the video told Newsflare.

'I wonder if they might shut off the water,' a woman is heard saying next.

Orlando Utilities Commission said a 12-inch pipe that was built in 1887, making it 132 years old, burst and caused the flooding.

The driver told reporters that he drove directly into the water in error and he didn't realize what was happening that day.

But the driver said it was a mistake and claimed cops never stopped him from driving

He claimed the police in fact didn't stop him. Apartments and businesses in the area lost water but they have it back now. However, they have to boil their water for the next two days because of this break.

Eventually a tow truck arrived to pluck the vehicle from the hole that swallowed him up momentarily.

It sent water pouring out of the motor's trunk and back seat as it was raised in the air.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy.
