Kate Beckinsale has revealed that she has never dated anyone with their 'own bag of mischief' before her new beau Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson.
The 45-year-old actress told Page Six that it came as quite a shock to her and it is something she's 'still getting used to', as their romance continues to blossom.
The Widow star, who was previously married to Len Wiseman, said: 'I've never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief.'

However Kate clearly hasn't been riled by Pete's past, as she insisted that she is in it for the long haul, saying: 'I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it,' she said. 'If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it's not.'
But she did add that she wished their high-profile relationship came with more privacy, admitting that it was slightly outdated to be so talked about.
Pete also recently responded to public scrutiny about the 20-year age difference between him and his new flame Kate.

Appearing on Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, he said: 'People have a crazy fascination with our age difference - it doesn't really bother us.
'But then again, I'm new to this. So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, George Clooney, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Sean Penn, whoever the president of France is, Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Ben Kingsley, Mick Jagger, Liev Schreiber, Sylvester Stallone, Kelsey Grammer, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart and Donald Trump.'
This comes after the star scrubbed her Instagram account of all posts on Friday morning with no explanation to her 2.8million followers.

Recently, the brunette bombshell has found herself at the center of a media storm surrounding her romance with Pete.
Kate was always quite active on the photo sharing platform, regularly posting Instagram Stories, photos and videos.
The Underworld star shared everything from stunning selfies to videos of her intense work out routines.
Her spontaneous move to rid the page of content could be part of a professional rebranding like Taylor Swift has done in the past.

However it could also be to do with her new relationship with Pete, the newly minted couple has caught flack due to their 20 year age difference.
Perhaps not so ironically, last week actor David Spade left a barbed joke in a comment on one of Kate's Instagram posts.
Kate posted a sweet video of herself cuddling a baby cheetah, taken during filming for her new Amazon TV series, The Widow, in South Africa.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy.
