«Breaking News» Chezzi Denyer shares a hospital photo of husband Grant with a torn disc

Grant Denyer's wife, Chezzi, has shared an Instagram photo of the Dancing With The Stars host in hospital and told her  followers he is suffering from a torn disc.

Last week, the father-of-two was injured during an accident at home and Chezzi, 39, said while he's in extreme pain that he is well and truly on the mend. 

'Not real fair, but then that is life. At least we now know what we're dealing with now. Annular Fissure or ruptured/ torn disc,' she captioned the photo of Grant, 41.

'It's been quite a number of years since I've seen my hubby in so much pain.. OUCH! A big thanks to everyone for all the beautiful well wishes.

'We will get there and until then, know we're so grateful for all the love! Xoxoxo And I should add, this was not a racing accident. Grant has been hammering in some stakes down our paddock to hold up new trees that were blowing in the wind when it happened!'

On Monday, 2DayFM radio host, Grant, was forced to pull out of his DWTS hosting duties due to his injury and he explained exactly how the accident occurred.

'This was not a racing accident': Chezzi told her followers that Grant was injured while 'hammering in some stakes down our paddock to hold up new trees'

'I was down the paddock mate with my Akubra on, my flannos' (flannelette shirt), just slamming away on a star picket with a huge sledgehammer and twang - away it went,' Grant said on his Grant, Ed and Ash breakfast show on Monday. 

Grant's co-host, Ede Kavalee, asked, 'So you were trying to hammer something into the ground with a mallet?' 

Grant replied: 'Yes. I'm trying to grow some trees and these trees need to be held up by posts.'

His injury comes two years after he was injured in a horrific car crash during the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship in Marysville, Victoria.

In 2017, Grant was rushed to hospital with a broken finger and fractured coccyx (tailbone).

It's not the first injury Grant has been injured behind the wheel of a race car, with the ex-Sunrise weatherman fracturing his back in 2008.

He was placed in ICU and spent months recovering in hospital after attempting to jump a car over a monster truck.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
