«Breaking News» Trump tells Putin to pull troops out Venezuela in surprise Oval Office meeting with Guaido's wife

President Trump said Wednesday that 'Russia needs to get out' of Venezuela as the U.S. accused the Kremlin of adding to unrest in the Latin American county.

Russian troops, military planes and equipment arrived in Venezuela over the weekend to support dictator Nicolas Maudro.

Trump dropped into a meeting with Fabiana Rosales de Guaido, the wife of Venezuelan opposition leader and U.S.-recognized acting president Juan Guaido, to assert U.S. support for her husband's bid to restore democracy.

'The people are starving, they're being killed they're being beaten,' he said, calling Maduro's refusal to accept humanitarian aid from the U.S. 'unfathomable' and cruel to the people.

The U.S. has said that Russia's military escalation is 'unconstructive' to a peaceful resolution to violent clashes between Maduro and opponents of his regime. And the president warned on Wednesday that the U.S. could reciprocate.

'Other than military you can’t get any more pressure than they have,' he said before he reminding that 'all options are open' when it comes to U.S. military involvement in the conflict.

The opposition leader's young wife had been scheduled to meet with Vice President Mike Pence at the White House on Tuesday morning. Just before the meeting began, the U.S. president, who had nothing on his public schedule at the time, decided to invite Guaido's wife in for a second conversation in the Oval Office.

His daughter Ivanka, a senior White House adviser, sat in on the Oval Office meeting.

First Lady Melania Trump was not present. She will meet with Rosales at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday. The U.S. first lady traditionally spends spring break at her husband's Palm Beach estate with their young son and was expected to remain there the entire week.

Trump's administration recognizes Juan Guiado, the elected head of the Venezuelan legislature, as the acting president of Venezuela in the absence of a free and fair election for the position. It frequently refers to him as the interim president, as well.

It has put intense pressure on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, whom it regards as a dictator, to step down and make way for a new election with international monitors.

'Nicolas Maduro is a dictator with no legitimate claim to power. It is the policy of the United States of America, under the direction of President Donald Trump, that Nicolas Maduro must go,' Pence on Wednesday said.

The U.S.-led campaign against Maduro and Treasury Department sanctions on the regime are supported by most western nations. China and Russia are aiding Maduro.

Pence said Wednesday as he met with Rosales at the White House, before her Oval Office meeting with Trump, that Russian aide to regime is an 'unwelcome provocation' as he reiterated the U.S. position that Maduro must relinquish power.

'The United States views Russia's arrival of military planes this weekend as an unwelcome provocation,' he said, 'and we call on Russia today to cease all support for the Maduro regine and stand with Guaidó stand with nations across this hemisphere and around the world until freedom is restored.'

Pence told Rosales that the U.S. will continue to 'stand with you' in the fight to restore democracy to Venezuela.

'It is a great honor to be able to welcome the first lady of Venezuela here to the White House. It is extraordinary to see what Fabiana and her courageous husband, interim President Juan Guaidó have done for freedom in Venezuela already,' the VP said.

President Trump said later, in the Oval Office, that Rosales had been through a lot and the U.S. is fully behind her husband's revolution.

U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton appeared on camera later in front of the White House to reiterate that it was a 'very moving experience' for Trump to meet with the first lady of Venezuela.

He said the president was 'very clear today in expressing his concern' for the Maduro regime's actions.

'I think the president has been very clear when he says all options on the table, he's not going to get into specifics,' Bolton told press. 'We've put enormous economic pressure on this illegitimate regime.

Accompanying Rosales was the wife of her husband's chief of staff, Romy Moreno Molina. Maduro's regime took her husband, Roberto Marrero, into custody last week.

She said government thugs barged into their home at 2 am. 'They destroyed our house, our child’s room. Everything. They planted guns and things. This happened for three hours. It was a nightmare, and after that they kidnapped him. We didn’t know anything about him for six days,' she said, 'We had no lights so the electricity was not working.'

She said she has not been allowed to contact her husband. 'We are afraid for his life. We have no communication. We have a 7-year-old kid who doesn’t know anything,' she stated.

Rosales said Maduro's regime is harassing her husband's family now. Yesterday, she said Maduro loyalists detained her husband's mother's cousin. She said, 'He was accused of terrorism. And Gustavo Guaido, his brother, was also accused. They are hitting everything that is closest to him, trying in that way to destabilize him.'

But, she said, in Spanish, 'Venezuela is not alone. The U.S. is with Venezuela. The international community is with Venezuela. The world is with Venezuela. The world sees and hears the terrible consequences of this dictatorship. But Venezuela decided that this is the year of peace and we're going to be able to go forward.'

Trump...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
