Billie Faiers appeared taken aback on This Morning on Wednesday, when TV host Phillip Schofield asked her if she had 'cut a deal' for her wedding to Greg Shepherd.
Noting that Billie, 29, had around 95 guests, Phil, 56, estimated that had she paid for the guests' trip to the Maldives, the big day would have set her back £229,000.
He said: 'My god, you must be earning beautifully to do this. This is the Kuramathi Resort in the Maldives. So we had a look, if you were to stay there next Saturday it would be £650 a night, that would be £4,588 for a week for the superior beach villa.
Awkward: Billie Faiers was left red-faced when Phillip Schofield grilled her over whether she 'cut a deal' to pay for her '£229,000' Maldives wedding
Not having it: Billie looked a little annoyed with Phillip's line of questioning
'The whole week for 100 guests, £229,000. So you must have got a deal there. £229,000 for your wedding?
But Billie who appeared on the show with sister Sam, 28, said it 'wasn't quite that,' as she giggled awkwardly.
Phillip then grilled her further after claiming she didn’t get a discount, saying: 'Right, so they did give you a deal?'
Billie then said: 'We had the beach houses and split them in two, it really helped us out with the rooms and stuff.'
Billie's wedding to Greg reportedly caused upset among other guests in the Maldives, some of whom had paid up to £12,000 for their trip of a lifetime.
Speaking her mind: She also denied that her guests were too noisy, despite a host of complaints
Sam added: 'The build-up to this wedding was about a year in the making. Paul and I always talk about it, I'm not engaged yet'

Despite there being more than one complaint and a rep for KUONI telling MailOnline that a handful of guests had to be spoken to, Billie said it wasn't the case.
She said: 'To be honest, most of them were absolutely rubbish. There was a guest complaint because we was a little bit noisy around the pool one day.
'But when you get 100 people together we're gonna be a little bit noisy.'
Happy days: Billie and Greg tied the knot in the Maldives earlier this month

Here come the girls! Billie had a group of pals by her side, including her good friend Ferne McCann (third from right)
'Most of the events we did were private events on the island. Other guests were getting involved it was a really big island.'
Billie, whose wedding appeared in OK! magazine and was filmed for The Mummy Diaries, said she cannot wait to watch it all back.
She said: 'It was just a blur, I need to go back and watch it.
'It was everything and more. It was just amazing. I can't believe how quick it went when everyone tells you just take a moment.
Billie said: 'When you get 100 people together we're gonna be a little bit noisy' but dismissed claims that things got a little out of hand
'I did try and get as many of those moments as I could.'
Billie said she found the whole process happy, yet stressful to organise.
She said: 'I got myself into like a bit of a rut. I was stressed out because I've got so much to do. It was planning a week of events for 100 people.
'I had ten suitcases I had to pack to take out there full of presents for guests.'
Something to say: The lovely ladies are promoting their series, The Mummy Diaries
Sam added: 'The build-up to this wedding was about a year in the making. Paul and I always talk about it, I'm not engaged yet.'
Sam caught Billie's bouquet and said: 'On the night everyone was going for it, so I had to just charge at my friend. I still want to...'
Billie and Greg had previously said they want to try for more children after the wedding and Billie said: 'We always say we'd never say never having another baby.'
Sam added: 'I'd quite like to have two more... but not yet...'
Earlier in the day, the sisters appeared on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin and spoke about what really happened when the family were flying out to the Maldives to the epic celebrations.
Sam said: 'My dad got marched off the flight. He took a sleeping tablet. He didn’t even make the flight. He hates flying. He had a sleeping tablet and a few drinks.
'They were like, he can’t travel and it couldn’t have got any worse.'
Billie agreed, explaining: 'When we got that phone call we thought it was a wind up. We thought surely not, the father of the bride.'
Looking lovely: The girls showed off their golden tans as they posed backstage for some snaps
'And It’s not like you can jump one a quick flight to Spain. It’s a scheduled flight. We were worried he was gonna miss it,' added Sam.
Luckily Dave managed to board a later flight and along with 95 other members of the Faiers family and friends spent a week in the Maldives celebrating the nuptials.
The sisters are currently promoting the latest series of ITVBe show The Mummy Diaries.
The current series follows the sisters and their families as they prepare for Billie's lavish nuptials in the Maldives, while a special episode will air later in the year, featuring all the gossip from the big day.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
