'We wanted a normal, nice Aussie bloke and that is what they have served up (even if he is a bit smarter than us mere mortals),' she added.
After describing the Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins and Sophie Monk seasons of the Bachelor and Bachelorette as 'train wrecks' for love, the brunette beauty said she now felt that 'real love' had a chance to bloom on the reality show.
Matthew 'is a nerd-a-liciously handsome clean slate, untouched by the world of reality TV or D-list celebritism', Laura wrote.

On Wednesday night, just 24 hours after filming began, Channel 10 announced that Matthew had been chosen as Australia's next Bachelor.
It's safe to say Matthew is quite unlike any other previous suitor.
While most Bachelors are known for gym selfies and wild partying, Matthew is more focused on his career achievements.
In the past, he has hosted several talks and events about 'discovering life beyond our universe' and also authored multiple academic papers.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
