British soldiers have received Viagra and sex therapy after claiming active service ruined their sex lives.
As many as 3,000 servicemen received Viagra in the last five years, and 60 had psychosexual therapy sessions to help their performance in the bedroom.
This comes after the drug was linked to 19 deaths in the UK in 2017.

Soldiers may get the drug and therapy sessions after claiming that active service ruined their sex lives
'The psychosexual therapy has been very effective,' one source told the Sun on Sunday.
'Once you get a soldier to admit that his sexual problems aren't his fault he is on the road to recovery.'
The shocking figures reveal that more than one in every 90 servicemen returns from combat suffering from a form of erectile dysfunction.
A report from the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said that Viagra's active drug, Sildenafil, caused over a dozen deaths in 2017.
A majority of these were linked to cardiac problems, including coronary artery disorder, cardiac arrhythmia and heart failure.
The trouble between the sheets for soldiers could be linked to punishing workloads undertaken while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Soldiers with posttraumatic stress disorder were 'significantly' more likely to have erectile dysfunction than others, a study found.
One study found that soldiers with posttraumatic stress disorder were significantly more likely to have erectile dysfunction, while another said there was no difference between the sex lives of male soldiers whether they did or did not have the anxiety problem. However, female soldiers were less likely to be sexually active if they had PTSD
'PTSD impairs sexual functioning across multiple domains: desire, arousal, orgasm, activity and satisfaction,' said the researchers based at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Centre, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and Argosy University in Chicago.
A 2002 study of male veterans diagnosed with PTSD found 85 per cent had dysfunction compared with 22 per cent among male combat Veterans without any mental health problems.
However, a 2016 study that looked at 1,581 male and female UK soldiers found that while men had similar levels of sexual activity whether they did or did not have PTSD, women were less likely to be sexually active if they had the anxiety disorder.
The research was led by Benjamin Breyer and funded by the U.S. Department of Defence.
The Mail on Sunday found last year that almost one in ten British troops were clinically obese.
Data supplied under Freedom of Information rules showed that in July there were 8,662 obese soldiers in the army, 4,666 in the Royal Navy, and 4,274 in the Royal Air Force.
Colonel Richard Kemp, former Army commander in Afghanistan, called on the Ministry of Defence to sack soldiers who cannot stay in shape after the shocking figures were revealed.
More than a million Viagra pills had been bought by the end of 2017 since it became legal to sell them in March that year.
The pills are used to treat male sexual function issues.
Viagra can be accessed on the NHS, from a pharmacy, via a private prescription, or online.
Side effects from taking the drug can include headaches, feeling sick and hot flushes, including facial flushes.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
