Sarah Palin's home may be in Alaska, but it looks like she had a blast visiting her eldest daughter Bristol and her three grandchildren in Texas.
The 55-year-old former governor took to Instagram on Monday to share photos and videos from her trip to Spicewood, a suburb of Austin. Bristol, 28, moved to the area with her now-ex-husband, Dakota Meyer, to raise their children, and her mom is clearly a fan.
Although Sarah likely spent most of her time with her grandchildren, the gun enthusiast relished in the fact that she was able to practice her shooting from the front door.

The mother-of-five proudly posted a picture of herself standing inside a home - which is not thought to belong to her daughter - while pointing a .17 caliber rifle outside into the distance.
'Why I [heart emoji] just popping into Texas: can practice out front door .17-cal Savage, ammo zipping 3000’/sec; youth football YEAR’ROUND; real cowboys in local cafes (southern drawl, got a little dirt on their boots, most polite guys in the country!); kids outside OFF THEIR PHONES riding bikes, etc YEAR ‘ROUND! God blessed Texas,' she wrote.
For her day of shooting, Sarah dressed in a bag red flannel shirt, black skinny jeans, and black heeled booties.
Another snapshot shows Bristol hugging her 10-year-old son, Tripp, at his football game that day.

The proud grandmother couldn't resist sharing a video of Tripp scoring a touchdown while she and Bristol cheered him on in the background.

Tripp is Bristol's only child with her ex-fiancé Levi Johnston; she also has two daughters, Sailor Grace, three, and Atlee Bay, one, with Dakota.
It's unclear if the girls were with Bristol at the time of Sarah's visit.

In addition to watching Tripp's game and practicing her shooting, Sarah also spent some time with some 'real cowboys in local cafes.'
Sarah posted a picture of herself sitting down and having a drink with some of the guys as well as a shot of herself taking a selfie with them.
Back in December, Bristol revealed that she is officially a real estate agent as she debuted her new @bristolpalinrealtor Instagram account.
She signed on with the Ben Kinny Team at Keller Williams Realty, and her mother is undoubtedly proud of her new career move.
Among Sarah's pictures from the trip is a snapshot of Bristol's business card, which features the Teen Mom OG star's smiling face.

The grandma shared a few photos of Tripp decked out in a helmet and a jersey while going dirt bike riding, and she was obviously pleased to see him enjoying the great outdoors.
Sarah ended the post with another picture of herself shooting her rifle.
Last month, Bristol took to Instagram to pay tribute to her mom in honor of her 55th birthday.
'Happy birthday to my mama!! We wish we were there spending it with you!' she captioned a photo of herself posing with her mom.
'Thank you for being the best mom and g’ma in the world - we love you, appreciate you, and miss you toooo much.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
