«Breaking News» Piers Morgan pokes fun at Ant McPartlin's ex Lisa Armstrong for 'agonisingly plucking his eyebrows'

Piers Morgan was playfully poking fun at Ant McPartlin's ex Lisa Armstrong on Friday, as he posted a hilarious Instagram Stories ahead of filming for his series Life Stories.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 53, joked that Lisa, 42, had 'agonisingly plucked his eyebrows without his permission,' as she applied his makeup for the show.

Lisa's spirited display comes after fans recently insisted that she should appear on Celebs Go Dating in a big to find love, following her split from husband Ant last January.

In the brief clip, Piers can be seen having his makeup done for Life Stories by Lisa, and in the clip jokes his eyebrows were 'agonisingly' plucked without his permission.

The opinionated presenter has never held back in sharing his views on consent and political correctness, and this week has been embroiled in a Twitter spat with Jameela Jamil.

Beaming Lisa looked to be in good spirits in the short clip as she applied Piers' makeup ahead of filming.

The makeup guru was axed from Britain's Got Talent last year, after it was claimed that bosses thought it 'untenable' that she could work with ex Ant, who is a presenter on the show. 

However it was also claimed that bosses decided to axe Lisa over 'repeated attempts to get media attention' on social media, according to The Mirror.

A source told also The Sun at the time: 'Lisa was taken off Britain’s Got Talent because bosses have seen the way she constantly courts attention on social media.

'They don’t want someone working on the show who behaves in this manner.

'Hair and make-up artists on the show need to be behind the scenes, but Lisa constantly tries to keep herself in the spotlight by using social media to get publicity.'

Since then Lisa has also reportedly landed a job on TOWIE, after impressing bosses with her work as a makeup artist on the show.

A spokesperson for the show told The Daily Mirror: 'Lisa and her team supplied hair and makeup... and did a fantastic job.' 

Ant and Lisa split after an 11 year marriage - and more than two decades together - in January 2018.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
