«Breaking News» Nikki Bella announces she is RETIRING from wrestling as she says goodbye to the WWE

Nikki Bella is saying goodbye to the WWE.

The 35-year-old professional wrestler announced that she is retiring because her body can no longer handle the strain that comes with being in the ring. 

The beauty, who used to be engaged to John Cena, said her most recent tour in Europe helped her make her decision: '[The tour] was good but I just feel like I'm too old for that travel,' she said during an episode of her reality TV show Total Divas.

Bella is a two-time WWE Divas champion. 

'The travel was really, really rough. So, I realized, I was like, why am I doing this? I don't feel good,' she also said.

And she said her decision was firm: 'I really am ready to hang up the jersey, like I can say it fully.'

Her sister Brie announced her retirement on a Total Bellas'episode earlier this month.

And Brie told Nikki she could hang her jersey 'right next to mine.'

Next up for Nikki is 'business endeavors' like her fashion brand.

'Here's to closing one chapter and the next one opening,' said the beauty.

This comes after she said she feels like a 'free spirit' since moving to LA and throwing herself into the dating scene.

The star recently bought a house in Los Angeles, California, where she has been enjoying several dates with the likes of Artem Chigvinstev - whom she was paired with on Dancing with the Stars in 2017 - and The Bachelorette star Peter Kraus.

And since the move, Nikki has said she has a 'new level of excitement' to her life.

Speaking in Sunday's season finale of Total Bellas, the reality star said: 'I just feel like this free spirit. Truly like a butterfly out of her cage. I don't know, I have this new level of excitement. I'm ready to really explore new things and people and just really see what certain chemistries are all about.'

Meanwhile, in a promotional clip for the episode, Nikki had admitted that despite her efforts to move on from the split with John, she would be devastated to see the WWE star romancing someone else.

She confessed to her twin sister Brie Bella: 'No matter what, the next time I see him with someone it's going to kill me. I still have a long way to go, but honestly I'm ready for a new me.'

And the beauty also said she'd relearned the 'highs and low of dating' following her new life as a single lady, especially dating in the public eye.

She added: 'I definitely learned the highs and lows of dating again, oh my goodness - and I did it in front of the world. And I stayed fearless no matter what. That word 'fearless', I keep close to my heart.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
