Mama June has made an argument for why she needs her boyfriend Geno Doak by her side.

The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star, 39, claimed this week that she is partially blind - something she has discussed on her TV show From Not To Hot several times - and needs her 42-year-old beau's assistance, according to a Wednesday report from TMZ.

Both were arrested in Alabama earlier this month for possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia after a domestic dispute at a gas station.

It was allegedly he threatened to kill her, which is why the court ordered him to stay away from the TV staple. 

The couple ignored the order, however, just after their arrest when they were seen at a casino side by side. 

But Mama- whose real name is June Shannon - said in legal documents obtained by the site that is a shame as he is so helpful to her and good with her kids - she is closest to two of her daughters Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo.

The blonde - who lost 300lbs after surgery -  also claimed she is in love with him and they are working on improving their relationship.

She does not fear for her safety or worry about what Geno could do to her, she said in the documents.

And she is 'asking the court to lift the order saying he has to stay away from her.' 

The TV star would also like his domestic violence charge dismissed too, it was claimed as she said they got heated during their argument but 'never was I in fear for my safety or did I want the police involved.'

Her friends say Geno, whom she has lived with for three years, is a 'bad influence.'

Geno's facing charges for domestic violence/harassment, and felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. 

June's also facing a charge for felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Mama June was seen sneering in her mugshot wearing a black top. 

Officials in Macon County charged the reality star with a felony for the possession of a controlled substance, as well as a misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to The Blast. 

The outlet reported that the substance was listed by officials as crack cocaine and 'the paraphernalia was noted by officials as showing evidence of crack cocaine residue and was determined to be recently used.' 

The mugshot of her boyfriend, Geno, was also released and showed him looking downward, expressionless. 

The charge could see June behind bars as the penalty for the felony possession is up to one year in jail. 

Last week, it was reported that cops were called by concerned citizens after they witnessed June and Geno in a physical scuffle at a gas station.  

Police reports detailing the incident say the drugs and accompanying paraphernalia were found while searching the couple's truck. 

When Doak was being searched, he warned authorities not to reach into his pocket as they might get 'sticked'.

June was seen in the back of a sheriff's pickup truck with bars on the windows and taken to jail following the incident. 

The reality star admitted to police that the white powder she was found with was crack cocaine. 

June was also found with drug paraphernalia that included a needle and a pipe containing a white residue, as well as $1,340 in her bra.

After her release a recording of Shannon speaking to a tow truck service was also obtained by TMZ and it seems to depict her in a manic state as she tried to explain her situation and get her car out of impound.

The reality star's speech was racing as she tried to get her car out of impound without a license. 

During the call she told the driver she and her boyfriend were arrested for DUI and insisted they found 'nothing' in the car. The tow truck driver also described the car as 'trashed' during their conversation. 

After the incident, TMZ reported that Geno was 'ordered by the court to stay away from June after the incident.'

But the two were seen together at a casino playing slots on Saturday.

Sources close to June and her family blame Geno for the arrest and are concerned for the safety of her daughter Alana, better known as Honey Boo Boo.

June is best known for her TV shows Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Mama June: From Not To Hot.

Season three of From Not To Hot premiered Friday, just days after her arrest.

June has four children: Anna, 24, Jessica, 22, Lauryn - known as Pumpkin, 19, and Alana, 13.

A court date has not been set for the reality star and her boyfriend following the charges.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
