Montana Brown appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday morning to argue that Barbie dolls are bad role models, and that they project an unrealistic body image.
But hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard were having none of it from her, as they were quick to point out the fact that she is only famous after appearing on Love Island - a show that only features attractive, toned people, mostly spending their time half-dressed.
'It’s quite a statement for you to argue against Barbie when people say the same thing about Love Island,' Susanna said.
Ben then added: 'Aren’t you fueling it by going on Love Island? Making it worse?'
Unimpressed, Montana replied: 'Is it my fault that they didn’t cast a broad range of women on Love Island?'
She also added: 'I didn’t have any Barbies because she was blonde with big boobs and was skinny and I’m not blonde and I didn’t relate to it. So I didn’t want one.'
Siding with Ben and Susanna were GMB viewers, who flocked to Twitter to slam the reality starlet, 23, leaving her 'digging a hole' for herself.

Hypocrite? Love Island's Montana Brown appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday morning to argue that Barbie dolls are bad role models, and that they project an unrealistic body image

Pot, kettle, black? 'It’s quite a statement for you to argue against Barbie when people say the same thing about Love Island,' Susanna said to Montana
Tweets appeared online, to the tune of: 'What’s that smell? Hypocrisy!'
One person tweeted: 'Montana's defense of appearing on Love Island is laughable in this context. Of course she knew they weren't gonna cast the fatties and geeks. Anything for another 5 seconds of fame!'
Someone else posted: 'Does Montana even know what she’s talking about?'
Another typed: 'looool at Montana from love Island on GMB sat preaching that Barbie sets unrealistic beauty standards for young girls yet her face is filled with filler and her Insta pics are edited to the max. Hypocrite hun!'

Tagging the show, someone else wrote: '@GMB with all due respect Montana Brown, you’re sat arguing the fact that Barbie isn’t a good role model because she looks unnatural... yet your face is filled to the brim & your veneers are gleaaaaaming!'
Others were quick to turn on Ashley James instead - who was on the show sticking up for Barbie, arguing that the brand try to develop the products to reflect diversity.
'Arrrrrrgh, it’s a toy Ashley James you don’t look like Barbie love - it’s a completely unnatural body/face shape,' someone typed, seemingly missing the point.
'Absolutely creased at Ashley James saying Barbie the doll is a feminist icon,' ranted someone else.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
