«Breaking News» Jason Momoa's private plane forced to make an emergency landing in Palm Springs following fire scare

Some scary moments for Aquaman star Jason Momoa and his crew of friends.

Their plane had to make an emergency landing Wednesday morning after the aircraft monitoring system reported an engine fire. 

'We got ourselves a slight delay,' the actor said from the tarmac in a selfie video he shared on his Instagram Story.

'A half-hour out of Palm Springs, the plane wanted to start a fire.'

Turning the camera towards the emergency workers he added: 'Good old fire department, gotta love them. Looks like we’re driving.'

In the following clip, Momoa took another selfie video with his friends following close behind.

'All right round two. We got the pack. My friends came to pick me up,' he declared as their plane was being shuttled back into service.

The Cessna Citation 560 XL was en route from Los Angeles to Phoenix, when it had to make the unscheduled stop in Palm Springs. 

In the end,  the Palm Springs Fire Department determined that the engine fire was a false alarm.

Afterwards, the 39-year old star posed with one of the firefighters, which was shared on the department's Instagram page.

'Had an Aircraft emergency today. Reported engine fire with @prideofgypsies (Momoa) onboard,' the caption read. 

'ARFF Engineer Andy Meza told his crew, “Not on my watch boys...not on my watch”. Turned out to be a false alarm but the ARFF Lads were on the ready. It's always nice to meet cool people.'

He added the hashtags: '#aquaman #palmsprings #firefighters #bestjobintheworld #ARFF #visitpalmsprings #local3601 #engine #truck #chiefmiller'

The good news: Momoa and his crew boarded the private plane and arrived at their destination in Phoenix, Arizona without further incident.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
