«Breaking News» Elle Fanning dances up a storm while filming new music video for upcoming movie Teen Spirit

She can sing, she can act and she can dance. 

Triple threat Elle Fanning got funky while filming a music video for her forthcoming movie, Teen Spirit, on Friday in Los Angeles. 

The 20-year-old actress let loose wearing a vintage bell bottom jumpsuit.

Elle appeared to have the time of her life filming the lighthearted video, as she strut down the sidewalk in black boots.

Her low cut navy blue and white spotted outfit was accentuated with simple jewelry choices and her hair flung wildly around as she danced.

As the cameras rolled, she threw her arms wide and belted out the song.

Throughout the entire day of shooting, the younger sister to Dakota Fanning, 25, completely went for it, flailing around as she got into character. 

Elle's lead role in the film as Violet will be the first time the actress will be seen singing in a movie.

She landed the starring role in the directorial debut of Max Minghella, 33, in the coming of age story about a small town girl looking to make it big as a performer.

The project, which is set to be released on April 5, is one that Elle actually sought out herself as she wanted the opportunity to showcase her singing - a talent she's been passionate about since she was young.

'I always loved singing growing up. It was either, be a pop star or an actress. When I was a little kid, I would put on these shows and dance to The Pussycat Dolls, Gwen Stefani, Fergie…' she told Net-A-Porter in a recent interview.

And one man singing acts weren't the only performances going on in the Fanning household growing up either.

'My sister and I would play these elaborate scenes around the house. Like birthing scenes… I would be the baby, coming out… crazy stuff like that,' Elle admitted.  

In some family friendly competition, Elle also revealed that she once lost out on a role to Dakota. 

As a budding actress, the younger of the sisters auditioned to be one of 55-year-old Lisa Kudrow's triplets on Friends, but was rejected.

Later on, Dakota instead landed a role on the sitcom, which caused Elle to completely boycott the show all together.

'Then my sister was on it and I refused to watch the episode. I was like, 'I am not watching this!' she said.

But despite the minor rejection, Elle has already had a successful career, with an impressive list of 60 credits currently added to her resume - five of which are releasing in the next year.

Also coming up, Elle will be reprising her role of Princess Auora, AKA Sleeping Beauty, in the sequel to her Maleficent film with Angelina Jolie, 43. 

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was recently announced and will be released in October of this year.

Elle can also be seen in upcoming films All The Bright Places and Molly, along with new TV series, The Great, coming out in 2020.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
