«Breaking News» Dakota Fanning bundles up in puffy white jacket while out and about in New York City

She's set to star in Quentin Tarantino's high-profile period crime film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

But Dakota Fanning was on the other side of the country on Friday when she was spotted out and about in New York City.

The 25-year-old actress was out in a sporty outfit and covered up against the cold on the particularly windy day.

The 5ft4in American Pastoral star had a puffy white down jacket on and a thick New York Yankees fanny pack with a floral pattern perfect for spring. 

She looked like she just came from a workout thanks to her multi-shade gray leggings and baby blue trainers.

Her long golden hair whipped back and forth in the wind, partially obscuring her Gentle Monster X Alexander Wang CEO sunglasses. 

Dakota picked up some Mediterranean takeout from CAVA during her city outing.

Earlier in March, the Man On Fire star showed off some warm weather snaps from a bachelorette party in Miami, a striking contrast with the chilly weather.

She showed off her toned bikini body next to the brilliant blue water.

Dakota was spotted late last month spending a fun-filled day at Universal Studios Hollywood with her sister, fellow actress Elle Fanning, 20.

The younger actress recently revealed that she refused to watch a young Dakota when she scored a part as one of Phoebe's triplets on Friends because she had been rejected for the same role.

The Coraline actress will next be seen in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, the ninth feature-length film from Pulp Fiction director Quentin Tarantino.

Dakota will appear in a supporting role as Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme, a follower of Charles Manson who was later sentenced to life in prison for the attempted assassination of President Gerald Ford.

The dramedy, which stars Leonard DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, is connected to the 1969 murders of actress Sharon Tate and four others in a rented house north of Beverly Hills.

Margot Robbie co-stars as Tate in the film, though the film appears to only loosely match up with real-life events.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
