Speaking to the Sunday Express the actress, 37, said: 'A massive part of being an actor is remembering things. Your memories are such a big part of who you are.
'That's why I feel for Barbara. She remembers so much about the past as clear as day yet she won't remember my name.
'We still have funny moments. It's not bleak all the time, but it is hardcore. It's a cruel disease that robs you of your memories.

Devastating: Barbara was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2014 but her and husband only decided to reveal the diagnosis to the public five months ago

Heartbreak: Scott has revealed that the acting legend believes she is in Stoke Newington, where she was raised, rather than at home with Scott and that it can make her very emotional
'Any time I'm in town for an audition I'll meet up with Barbara and Scott for a cup of tea. I've always done that. I'm training with Scott so we meet up on a Friday, run together and catch up. I find running so boring so chatting makes the time go faster.'
She added that she finds the 'resilience' of her old mentor 'inspiring' in the face of her battle with dementia.
Kellie, Scott and a handful of the Eastenders legend's old co-stars will be taking part in the London Marathon this year to raise £100,000 for Alzheimer's research.

Good cause: Kellie, Scott and a handful of the Eastenders legend's old co-stars will be taking part in the London Marathon this year to raise £100,000 for Alzheimer's research
In January Scott told the Sun the Carry On star cannot be left alone and requires assistance from carers.
It was reported that the acting legend believes she is in Stoke Newington, where she was raised, rather than at home with Scott and that it can make her very emotional.
'I used to feel very guilty about leaving her, so I could be stuck in the house for two or three days. When I did first have carers in I still felt a sense of guilt,' Scott said.

Smiling: The group have named themselves Barbara's Revolutionaries as they run in the name of the EastEnders legend

Give what you can: Scott is currently focusing on running the Virgin Money London Marathon on April 28 as part of the Barbara's Revolutionaries team
'But I also realised it is so important for me to have that little bit of rest from the situation — otherwise you can't keep strong. You need to keep strong for the other person.'
He also revealed that watching television helps Barbara, as does listening to a radio station designed for those suffering with dementia.
'They make it very easy and you can do playlists — there's a whole thing of Barbara’s career and her songs on that. She really loves that, she connects with it,' he added.

Staying strong: Marathon training has helped Scott cope, and he told the Press Association that time spent running is helping him to 'digest' the situation

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
