«Breaking News» Gunman takes ex-girlfriend and another woman hostage at a New Jersey UPS facility

A gunman has taken his ex-girlfriend and another woman hostage at a New Jersey UPS facility Monday morning.   

The man reportedly entered the UPS Mail Innovations warehouse around 8.30am and fired shots into the ceiling before taking the two women hostage, law enforcement sources tell NBC New York. 

The source says no one was struck in the initial shooting and there is no information on the gunman's relationship to UPS. 

Police evacuated the building and have surrounded the loading dock area of the large UPS supply chain warehouse in Logan Township, about 20 miles south of Philadelphia.

Gloucester County officials say 32 employees were inside the facility at the time of the shooting.  

Armed officers can be seen from aerial images crouching behind vehicles, while other officers were seen swarming an office door. 

Armored trucks, bomb squad and ambulances have arrived on the scene. 

There have been no reported injuries. 

In a statement, UPS says it's working with law enforcement on an active shooter situation at its supply chain processing facility in Logan Township, but did not provide details or identify if any employees were involved.

'UPS is working with law enforcement as they respond to an active shooter situation at one of the company's supply chain processing facilities in Logan Township, New Jersey. We cannot provide information about the identity of people involved at this time,' UPS said in a statement.

A police roadblock is set up as officials respond to reports of an active shooter

Ashlee Erickson posted video to Facebook from outside the facility and told 6abc that was in the building when it was evacuated. 

'There was a massive police presence as soon as we were walking out of the building, there were a good 10 cop cars, they all had their guns drawn out heading toward the main entrance of the building,' Erickson said.

'From what I understand it was someone who did not work there that was having a confrontation with their significant other,' she added.

Schools in the area were put on a modified lockdown, and no one can enter or leave the schools in the township due to 'policy activity in a nearby industrial park,' Superintendent Patricia Haney said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
