«Breaking News» New Fred and Rose West documentary is CANCELLED by ITV

ITV confirmed their documentary about Fred and Rose West has been postponed for 'legal reasons' just hours before it was due to air .

The programme, 'Fred and Rose West: The Real Story with Trevor McDonald', was due to air at 9pm yesterday evening.

But hours before, ITV began advertising that a repeat of Trevor McDonald's Death Row would shown instead.

An ITV representative told the Mirror: 'Broadcast has been postponed for legal reasons and the film will be scheduled for a later date.'

Fred and Rose West raped, tortured and murdered 12 women and young girls during a 20-year reign of terror between 1967 and 1987 - including their own daughter Heather. 

The new documentary presented by Sir Trevor McDonald exposes the details behind their sickening crimes, and it is revealed for the first time Rose was more violent than her husband. 

In the programme, Sir Trevor revisited the 'house of horrors' on 25 Cromwell Street - which has now been torn down but where many of their heinous crimes were committed.

Along with exclusive interviews with people who had not spoken about the crimes before, reports leaked about the documentary said it was focused on the role Rose West played in the crimes.

The documentary was due to air tonight but has been pulled by ITV

The documentary was said to suggest she was 'actively involved' and helped lure some of the 12 victims to their death by kidnapping them.

It comes after Fred's niece spoke about the moment her teenage cousin's body was found for another television programme marking and anniversary of the killings.

This comes after the devastated sisters of one of the couple's victims appeared on This Morning.

After years of silence her sisters Belinda Mott and Mary Ann Mitchell have spoken publicly for the first time ahead of the documentary. 

Juanita Mott disappeared at the age of 18 in 1975 and was never seen again.

It was only in 1994 when her and eight other victims' remains were found at the West's 'house of horrors' in Gloucester that her devastated family finally found out what happened to her.

They feature in a new documentary where Sir Trevor McDonald looks at how 'actively involved' Rose was in the murders she and her monster husband orchestrated.

Ahead of it airing on ITV the women appeared on This Morning where they told presenters Phil and Holly they hope she 'rots in hell'.

Asked what they think of her bid for freedom despite a whole-life tarriff, Ms Mott said: 'It makes us angry. It's just a waste of taxpayers' money.'

Her sister Mary Ann added: 'We pay our taxes you pay your taxes to keep this country running - and to keep her inside.

'She gets three meals a day, a nice comfy bed and a roof over her head. I'd like to see her rot in hell.'

Ms Mott interjected saying she wants to see the serial killer in a 'very slow electric chair'.

Mrs Mitchell added: 'I feel the death penalty is needed in this case - when there's absolutely no doubt she killed those girls. 

'We felt cheated when Fred killed himself. But part of me is glad he’s not on this earth, breathing the same air as us.'

Ms Mott revealed she went to the West's home in Cromwell Street, Gloucester once and spoke to the pair.  

Rose was convicted of 10 murders in 1995 and handed a whole life term, meaning she will never be released, however the mother-of-eight is said to still have hopes of being released. Fred West killed himself while awaiting trial in 1995.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
