The disturbing details of an alleged plot to kidnap a young child from a county fair in Michigan have been revealed.
David Bailey, 37, of Coldwater, Matthew Toole, 32, of Battle Creek, Talia Furman, 32, of Springfield, and Jayme LaPoint, 19, of Athens, were all arrested in September.
The foursome had planned to abduct a child from either Eaton, Jackson, Branch or Hillsdale counties, torture and then sexually assault the child until they died, according to a report from MLive.com.
All four were charged with three counts each of conspiracy to murder, kidnap and commit sexual conduct.
An investigation by the Michigan State Police revealed this week that a witness who claimed to be the former girlfriend of Bailey and LaPoint contacted police in July 2018 about the suspect's plot to kidnap and kill a child.
The witness told police at the time that she was around a table with all four suspects when they shared their plan.

Matthew Toole (left), 32, and his girlfriend, Talia Furman (right), 32, were also arrested. Authorities said they had plans to kidnap, torture and sexually assault a young child
According to MLive, the witness told police that the suspects were trying to figure out which of four fairs would be geared toward children.
'Because Jayme LaPoint could pass for a teenager she would be the decoy,' the police report states.
'Jayme would ask a child to use their phone and when they gave it to her she would run away with it,' according to the news site.
The plan was for LaPoint to then throw the phone into a rental car for the child to jump in and grab.
Then they allegedly planned to take the child to a cabin in Michigan or Indiana and torture him or her.
According to the police report, obtained by MLive, the group hoped that the child would still be alive so that they could 'start a fire and put the child in a burning barrel and put the child in it alive to be burned'.
The report shows that the group allegedly had plans to crush the child's bones and teeth and burn the rental cabin.
At the time of their arrest, Michigan State Police told WOOD TV that three members of the group were being investigated for child pornography when they discovered conversations between all four about their horrific plan.
State Police Computer Crimes Unit Detective Sargent Gerald Yott, who led the case, told The Battle Creek Enquirer each member of the group was abusing their own child as well as others.
'They committed acts on their own children and were making sexually abusive material,' Yott said in September.
'They were all sharing and exploiting their own children and other children.'
Toole and his girlfriend Furman were arraigned in mid-August after allegedly sexually assaulting a three-month-old girl and three-year-old boy on multiple occasions between October 2017 and February 2018,The Battle Creek Enquirer reported.

The group, who police say were close to acting on their plan when they were arrested, were considering targeting county fairs in Branch, Calhoun and Jackson (pictured), parking lots of Walmart and Meijer stores that did not have security cameras, and a few parades
Police claimed they seized videos and photographs of the assaults, and other child pornography.
LaPoint was charged with criminal sexual conduct two weeks earlier after confessing to police she had made videos with her husband, 30, where they performed sexual acts with a girl under two, who the teenager babysat.
In the videos, a woman was seen digitally penetrating the toddler, according to The Daily Reporter.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force said they believe the group of four were close to putting their plan into action when they were arrested.
Some of the messages discovered in the group's phones were of violent scenarios.
'I wanna hurt something. Have the plan for after it’s broken. Can make it gone without worry of discovery. You have a place for the play time ... we just need the toy,' one text read.
Another read: 'Anything at this point. Lol. I seriously contemplated pistol whipping a woman and snatching her daughter at the store last night.'
Detective Sargent Gerald Yott, who led the case, told WWMT the foursome was: 'One of the most heinous groups of monsters that we've dealt with'.
'These are the worst of the worst people,' he said.
'We like to think that this can't happen here, and it does. It happens here all the time.'
Each charge against the foursome is punishable by up to life in prison, and all four are being held in custody until their arraignment.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
