Yet Gemma Collins proved herself to be a consummate professional on Thursday as she fought through her battle wounds to attend training while celebrating her 38th birthday, which she documented on social media.
The former TOWIE star came over uncharacteristically coy as she headed to the ice just one day after skating pro Matt Evers defended her, as he insisted she did not fake the fall which left her battered and bruised.

Gemma, whose birthday falls on Saturday, was indulging in some early festivities on the ice, as her dance partner and boyfriend James Argent were wishing her well.
In a video on Instagram, Gemma said: 'Good old Matthew this morning, come on sexy!', to which he replied: 'Happy Birthday beautiful.'
Gemma then explained to her followers: 'Oh yeah guys it's my birthday, and guess where I am? Instead of drinking champagne and eating caviar I'm on the ice.'
James shared a host of snaps of the couple throughout their friendship, while gushing about his beloved girlfriend in the sweet snaps.

Speaking on Wednesday's This Morning via. FaceTime, the American skater revealed they've been back on the rink after she paid a visit to the physiotherapist, adding she's not been left wheelchair bound by the fall.
It came as Matt also confirmed that Gemma did not 'black out' on the ice as was previously reported as it was confirmed the star would still perform this Sunday.
Matt told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that Gemma was slowly recovering from her nasty tumble last weekend, which came in the middle of her live skating performance.

He said: 'She's good she's still bruised she's still icing her knees but she's back with fighting spirit, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.'
After Gemma was spotted leaving her house in a wheelchair, the pro also confirmed that it was a very short-term measure, and she's now well enough to be back in training.
'She's not wheelchair bound she was having trouble walking but that was just to get her into the car to see the physio and all is well,' he added. 'We had a session yesterday and I'm backstage right now and I'm about to get on the ice with her.'
Matt also slammed recent speculation that Gemma faked the fall to gain public support, adding: 'I've been skating for 30 years and I've never seen anyone fall like that.

'Part of my training as a skater as the male you're sort of taught how to save the girl at any cost and when I saw her slide she was very aware she was v close to the edge so it was my job to ensure she didn't slide into the barrier.'
And following recent reports that Gemma 'blacked out' on the ice, sparking the fall, Matt insisted
At the end of the day in high level of sprot and sometimes when oyure in the middle of a performance and you have no idea what's going on.
'They don't have to think about the performance it wasn't a blackout she just couldn't remember what happened. She was in such incredible performance mode.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
