«Breaking News» Jeff Bezos' security chief 'tried to send him to $12,500 marriage counselling retreat in Hawaii'

Jeff Bezos' camp tried to keep him and his wife together with a $12,500-a-week 'intensive' couple's therapy retreat in Hawaii, it has been claimed.

When news of his affair with Lauren Sanchez broke in January, the Amazon mogul's head of security, Gavin De Becker, urged him to take a 30-day break from seeing Sanchez.

He also tried to convince him to go to Maui Intensives with his wife MacKenzie, according to Vanity Fair.

Maui Intensives is a $12,500 retreat in Maui where therapists Judy Gabriel and Rae Ariel offer services for 'individuals, couples and families'. They pride themselves on their discretion and on the fact that they are 'word of mouth only'.

De Becker, who spearheaded an investigation into who leaked details of their affair, is quoted on its website heaping praise on the pair.

'Their innovative approach accomplishes in a week what typical 50-minute sessions take years to address.

'The people I have referred to Rae and Judy have experienced profound value, clarity and healing. I am so grateful that such a practice exists,' he said.

It is unclear whether or not Bezos and his wife ever went to the retreat but they were hired, according to Lauren's brother Michael.

'Once Judy and Rae were hired, I told Lauren, "Watch out. We’re f****d. Gavin is going to get Jeff back together with MacKenzie,"' Michael is quoted as saying.

He has vehemently denied being the source of the leak which led to the National Enquirer's expose on the pair's affair in January, but has since lashed out at Bezos and his camp for its handling of the scandal and treatment of him.

While De Becker has never stated on-the-record who he believes the source was, he confirmed that Michael was interviewed as part of his investigation into it and has not shared the names of any other subjects.

Multiple sources at AMI have told The Daily Beast and Vanity Fair that it was Lauren's brother who gave over photographs that Bezos sent her and explicit text messages.

On Monday, Michael, who previously said he has been trying to protect his sister from the beginning, told DailyMail.com: 'As an Amazon shareholder, I’m appalled Jeff Bezos allowed Gavin de Becker, his CIA-connected fixer, to present himself as an “Amazon Investigator” while leaking false information about me and Bezos' extramarital love affair; as revealed by two Daily Beast reporters.'

Unnamed sources cited by Vanity Fair claims De Becker is due to publish a 90-page investigative report that will claim AMI was motivated by investment from Saudi Arabia to publish its story on Bezos.

The Saudis dislike him and his newspaper, The Washington Post, in part because of its coverage of its regime.

Jamal Kashoggi, the journalist who was murdered in Turkey in October allegedly because he spoke out against the country, also worked for the Post as a columnist.

AMI has repeatedly denied claims that it was motivated by anything other than publishing details of the affair because it is a newsworthy story.

It has dismissed a second theory that its reporting was fueled by a desire to curry favor with President Trump who has had a years-long friendship with AMI publisher David Pecker.

Trump is a vocal critic of Bezos and the Post.

Bezos, aside from publishing an essay on Medium where he slammed the Enquirer, AMI and its journalists, has not commented on his affair or his marriage.

Sanchez, a former actress and helicopter pilot, has said nothing.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
