'Wade Robson and James Safechuck. As s survivor of childhood sexual trauma I believe you. #LeavingNeverland,' said user Scott Miller.

A different user said: 'I'm watching #LeavingNeverland to 1. confirm the already obvious acts of abuse that occurred for years and 2. because Michael Jackson stans that think he can do no wrong are the strangest stans on twitter to get heat from.'

'Lot of disturbing details I wasn’t ready for. #LeavingNeverland,' said actor Bryan Greenberg.

'#LeavingNeverland isn't about the spider or the fly. It is about the web,' stated a different user. 'Listen to survivors. Learn about grooming. Understand that victims have complex feelings.'

'I want to throw up. This is disgusting. #LeavingNeverland,' declared Bill Burke.

Sisterhood of Travelling Pants star Amber Tamblyn added: 'As a former child actress, I can’t help but watch this documentary and think about how wrong it is for children to be put in the position of performing for the soul purpose of pleasing adults. It’s such a slippery, dangerous, often abusive slope. #LeavingNeverland.

Some users also shared the most shocking parts of the documentary so far.

But a lot of people shared their disgust with the documentary, finding it 10 years too late and taking issue that Jackson couldn't defend himself.

There were those who also took the moment to attack Oprah, whose father was accused of sexual assault 1995. Users also pointed out that she had been buddies with Harvey Weinstein.

Tariq Nasheed said: 'People don't know, but Oprah's dad was accused of sexual assault back in 1995. The case thrown out, but Oprah had to pay the woman a $50,000 settlement. Oprah's Hollywood connects buried this story for her. So does Oprah owe some favors now? #LeavingNeverland.'

'The michael jackson pedophilia documentary #LeavingNeverland comes across like the elites want to make MJ the poster boy for what they themselves are the most guilty,' added another user. 'The fact oprah made it, when she was photographed sucking Harvey Weinstein's ear lobe, says it all.'

A few people also compared how detailed the R. Kelly documentary was to the Michael Jackson one, noting that the earlier one had a lot more 'credible' sources to pull from.

Leaving Neverland premiered Sunday at 8pm on HBO. It will also be showing on Monday at the same time.

The new documentary – ‘Leaving Neverland’ – details the ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
