NRL legend Mark Geyer found his daughter in tears after she received 1,000 Instagram follow requests because she'd been falsely accused of being in a sex tape with players.
Geyer, 51, has hired lawyers after rumours spread that Montanna, 22, appeared in an explicit video which leaked online and was allegedly filmed by Panthers player Tyrone May.
May has been charged with filming without consent over the video which shows a man having sex with a woman and putting his hand around her throat.

Geyer, who played for the Panthers in two spells in the late 1980s and late 90s, said he found out about the false rumours while at home with his daughter on Monday.
'She had 1,000 friend requests on Instagram because they think it's her in the sex tape,' Geyer told the Daily Telegraph.
'She came down hysterical. I asked her what's wrong and she showed me.'
Geyer then went on the NRL memes page and demanded to speak to the administrator in a furious comment.
'Can someone tell me where/who runs this page, and where they operate (sic) of??? NOW!!,' Geyer wrote.
He later deleted the comment but said in a statement he has hired lawyers to clear his daughter's name.
'These f***ers who live in anonymity have gotten away with too much for too long,' Geyer said of internet trolls.

Geyer on Tuesday released a statement through Triple M confirming he had consulted with lawyers.
'I have today engaged Brydens Lawyers to act on behalf of my daughter, Montanna, for the purpose of taking action against those who have published false and defamatory material which has caused incredible distress for my family,' he said.
'On the advice of the solicitors, I do not propose to make any further comment.'
On Tuesday May, 22, was arrested and charged with filming and sharing sex tapes with two women without their knowledge.
New South Wales Police say they were told the sex itself was consensual, but they were unaware they were being filmed.
May was charged with two counts of recording intimate image without consent, and two counts of disseminate image without consent.
He was granted conditional bail and will reappear in court in May.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
