A couple of self-described 'old fat lesbians' who love smoking pot have — perhaps unsurprisingly — managed to rack up thousands of Instagram followers in just two weeks.
Maine residents Lee and Sue check off a whole lot of boxes for groups that still face stigmas in society. So earlier this month, the married couple, who have been together for 12 years and tied the knot in 2015, decided to do their part in erasing those negative attitudes and misconceptions by launching their own joint Instagram account.
Together, they go by @420oldfatlesbians with a tagline reading 'The Likes of Dykes' — and since March 3, they've reached over 30,000 followers who watch their funny pot-smoking videos in droves.

The couple posted their first video on March 3; in it, the two wear sunglasses and smoke from a homemade bong made out of a prune juice can.
They've continued with similarly kooky content, including videos of them smoking out of more homemade contraptions and wearing various costumes.
Thus far they have smoked out of a wide variety of objects, from a unicorn toy to a small yellow bullet-shaped vibrator, which they joked was helping them to 'feel a buzz'.
They use lots of hashtags, like #smokeweedeveryday, #girlswhosmoke, and oddly enough, #oprahsbookclub.
'We are tired of the stigmas on weed, on lesbians, fat people, old people,' Sue told NBC News. 'People need to just be who they are and not worry about what others think.'
Both women hold licenses for medical marijuana to legally smoke in Maine. Though recreational marijuana was approved in a 2016 voter referendum, the legalization has yet to be implemented.

In a few of the videos posted to their account, the couple can actually be seen enjoying weed in the hospital, both through the use of edibles - candy that contains marijuana - and with a vape pen which they sneakily used in the bathroom.
'Marijuana is great, because you can’t overdose, and it just really, really helps the body,' Lee said.
The two women, who are originally from Chicago, had been living in Florida until they recently made the move up north. Lee said they prefer it up in Maine over Florida because 'having no seasons and super hot weather and being fat, we wanted to be somewhere cooler.
Sue added: 'After we moved here. we realized how open weed growing and weed using was. There’s a lot of dispensaries, there’s a lot of grow-equipment shops, so that speaks to what's going on.'
The women have been together for 12 years and got married in 2015. Rather than provide their ages, they said they are in the 'third trimester' of life.

That fun-loving kind of attitude — and their irreverent approach to Instagram videos — has earned them plenty of fans so far.
In one recent video, the women pulled out a Barbie doll they'd made over and offered alternatives that better represented more of society. These included Butch Barb, Fat Barb, Trans Barb, and Ganja Barb.
In another, they dress up in green in anticipation of St. Patrick's Day and wonder aloud who St. Patrick was.
They've worn butterfly wings and unicorns, and smoked out of a snowball and a toy unicorn.
'I'm so in love with you both,' wrote one fan, while another commented: 'This account is my new life goal inspiration.'
'You guys are so hilarious and delightful. Thanks for being you!' wrote yet another.
And one more: 'Hello my new favorite Instagram people! You girls are awesome!!!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
