«Breaking News» Jennifer Garner becomes emotional as the actress embraces a friend in Brentwood

She's endured a rough 12 months, including finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck as well as staging an intervention for her alcoholic ex.

But Jennifer Garner cried tears of joy on Tuesday, when the 46-year-old actress caught up with an old friend in Brentwood. 

The Peppermint star looked radiant in a white sweater as she embraced her pal in the street.

Jennifer paired the pristine garment with black pinstriped pants and black, leather low-soled shoes. 

Her wavy brunette tresses were worn loose and flowing behind her as the Alias star ran to embrace her friend.

Garner whipped off her tortoiseshell sunglasses as she wrapped her arms around the man, tears welling in her eyes.

Garner had another reason to smile on Tuesday.

The mother-of-three took to Instagram to post a video which celebrated a new milestone for the Once Upon A Farm baby food line that she co-founded.

She captioned the video, 'Today we are announcing that @onceuponafarm has been WIC approved in Florida and my home state of West Virginia, feeding nearly 125,000 babies born into poverty.'

'It’s been a crazy learning process and a nutty road, and we still have 48 states to go!'

'But it’s a huge step and something that makes me very happy and proud. Xx, Jen'.

Jen and Ben Affleck were married in June 2005 and finalized their divorce in November nearly three years after separating.

And Jennifer has remained a positive figure in his life, even staging an intervention in August to help Ben into rehab following a challenging summer where he ended his relationship with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus before sparking a fling with model Shauna Sexton.

Affleck and Garner have remained committed to co-parenting their three children, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, seven.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
