Michael Cohen's testimony to Congress was damaging to Donald Trump's reputation, with most Americans holding the opinion now that the president is guilty of crimes, a new Quinnipiac University poll shows.
The ex-fixer's claims that Trump directed him to pay off women and gave him verbal cues that he wanted him to lie about his business interests in Russia has nearly two-thirds of potential voters president committed crimes before he took office.
More than seven in 10 indicated a belief that Trump acted unethically, at the very least, suggesting that Cohen's claims had an unsettling effect on wide swath of the electorate.

The question generally asked a presidential candidate 'paying money to hide a negative story about themselves during a presidential campaign and not disclosing that expense' yet it was clearly linked to Cohen's testimony.
A razor-thin majority of Republicans, 51 percent, said that it is. All but six percent of Democrats responded in the affirmative, as well. Combined with the 72 percent of Independents who said it was unethical, an average of 73 percent of the survey's respondents said behavior like Trump is accused of is not acceptable.
Despite a belief that Trump's actions were criminal, significantly fewer Americans, 45 percent, believe that the billionaire has engaged in illegal activity since he was sworn in to office.
That view is skewed heavily by the percentage of Democrats, 75 percent, who say he did, compared to the 12 percent of Republicans and 46 percent of Independents who share that opinion.
A total of 58 percent of Americans want Congress to keep probing for evidence, however the survey said, suggesting that Trump is not out of the woods yet.
Half of Americans agree that it is distracting, but almost as many, 46 percent, believe that lawmakers should continue to investigate Cohen's claims of illegal conduct.
Cohen testified last Tuesday before the House Oversight Committee that Trump told him in his own way that he wanted him to lie about a letter of intent outlining a Moscow construction project.
He admitted the president never told him to lie about the project to Congress or anyone else. Cohen claims that Trump suggested it when he said repeatedly that he has no business dealings with Russia, though.
The former Trump attorney also revealed Trump's order that he pay off women to keep them from coming forward with damaging allegations about their relationships with him prior to the election.

Cohen says the payment was intended to influence the election and pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations. He pleaded guilty to perjuring himself to Congress, too, in earlier testimony about the timeline of the Moscow project.
His testimony had 64 percent of the country believing that Trump is complicit in his crimes, the Quinnipiac poll found,
Even a third of Republicans said after the ex fixer's testimony that Trump was guilty, with 65 percent of Independents and 85 percent of Democrats agreeing.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
