Police in Florida say a man made a 911 call to report a crime on Friday, but accidentally incriminated himself in the process.
Jon Omer Sengul, 50, was arrested by West Palm Beach Police on March 22, after he told an officer that he'd paid four people to engage in sexual relations in his Days Inn hotel room.
Sengul reportedly shelled out $500 to the group of prospective lovers, but all of them failed to turn up and had seemingly run-off with the cash.
Jon Omer Sengul, 50, was arrested by West Palm Beach Police on March 22, after he reportedly called 911 to tell police he'd been scammed $500 by four prostitutes
Police arrived at Sengul's hotel room to reports of theft, where the victim-come-defendant is said to have made a number of 'incriminating statements', according to a police affidavit.
'I clarified with Sengul that he was telling me he solicited another person for sex — and he confirmed that he did,' the arresting officer's report reads.
'Sengul said that he called the police because after giving the individuals the money they did not come to his room to engage in the aforementioned sexual relations.'
The illegal romp was set to take place at Sengul's Days Inn hotel room, in West Palm Beach, Florida, but the four alleged sex workers failed to show
Sengul was then arrested by the officer and charged with purchasing the services of a prostitute.
He has no previous criminal record and he was released from custody on Sunday, having met his bail bond of $500.
A hearing for the case is scheduled for April 29, in Palm Beach.
West Palm Beach Police aren't thought to have yet made contact with the four individuals accused of stealing the $500 issued to them by Sengul.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
