Newly engaged Katy Perry enjoyed her Thursday night out on the Great White Way in New York City.
The pop superstar took in the high-acclaimed Broadway play - To Kill A Mocking Bird, starring Jeff Daniels -- without new fiance Orlando Bloom.
And keeping with her flare for fashion, she made her grand arrival at the Shubert Theatre dressed in a colorful ensemble.

The Fireworks singer rocked a mustard-yellow leather button-down dress.
She covered up with an long orange vinyl overcoat that came complete with black faux fur around the collar and sleeves.
To round out the eye-catching ensemble, the 34-year old singer wore a pair of orange and black pointed boots, and she had her dyed-blonde pixie cut, swept back off her face with a part on the right.
Also in plain sight: Perry's $5 million ruby engagement ring, given to her by Bloom.

Newly engaged -- Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp -- were also seen arriving for Thursday's performance of To Kill A Mockingbird.
The Harry Met Sally star went with an-black ensemble of pants, sweater, sneakers and an overcoat for the chilly winter's night in the big city.
She too had her diamond engagement ring in full view as she made her way into the venue.
Her rocker fiance looked similarly dressed in an all-black outfit.
The couple went public with their big news via Instagram on November 8.

Perry and Bloom announced their engagement on social media in February.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star popped the big question during helicopter ride that Katy later called a very James Bond move.
'We landed on a rooftop [in Los Angeles] and my whole family was there, and all my friends. He did so well,' the singer confessed.
Perry has been in Manhattan in recent days promoting the upcoming 17th season of American Idol, which she shares judging duties with Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
