Chief Justice Tiffany Sellers made headlines last year when it was revealed that she and seven other black women made up the entire criminal justice system of South Fulton, Georgia.

But now Sellers is without a job - and a $135,000-per-year contract - after the South Fulton City Council fired the judge over claims she had bullied workers and approved the filming of a reality TV show in her courtroom.

Sellers entered the public eye last year when a photo of her court, which appeared in The Atlanta Voice, was widely shared online with the hashtag #BlackGirlMagic.

Along with Sellers was interim Police Chief Sheila Rogers, solicitor LaDawn 'LBJ' Jones, public defender Viveca Famber Powell, court administrator Lakesiya Cofield, chief court clerk Ramona Howard, and court clerks Tiffany Kinslow and Kerry Stephens.

But now only half the women in the picture remain in their positions. Two of the women - a clerk of the court and court administrator - said Sellers was the reason that they resigned.

A petition from the City Council reveals that problems first arose between Sellers and one of the city's court clerks, whose name has not been released.

Sellers allegedly asked the clerk to sit further away from her in July and then, in September, banned her from the courtroom completely, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The ban came a month after the clerk and the court administrator refused to sign a release allowing them to be filmed for a short HBO/Vice TV film about the court.

'I cannot allow either of you to "opt out" of attending Court,' Sellers told them. When both women still did, Sellers told the court administrator she was disappointed.

An internal investigation by the city manager found that the 'filming of the court's operation has exacerbated disagreements, personnel issues, and increased confusion regarding the Court's administrative execution.'

It was then revealed that Sellers and two court employees had begun developing a reality show with the production company Good Caper Content.

Councilwoman Carmalitha Gumbs said she proposed that the City Council fire Sellers because the judge 'had begun taping a reality show about the City of South Fulton's Municipal Court without our knowledge'.

Gumbs said she was concerned about the show because the city, which was incorporated in 2017, had not yet 'had an opportunity to establish our image and brand'.

'When we learned that the Judge had signed a contract with the production company, we requested to see a contract, but it was never received, further fueling the Council's concerns,' she added. 'This was the beginning of the process that led to my signing the petition for the judge's termination.'

Sellers said she and the two employees had only signed an exclusivity deal for the 'development of an idea of a show', whose working title was Women In Black.

'We had no idea that the council was against the show,' Sellers said, adding that they terminated the deal after hearing the City Council's complaints.

Gumbs said she learned about the bullying allegations against Sellers after the City Council began investigating the reality show.

Sellers also allegedly hired a court clerk who had previously worked for her. The City Council said the judge then harassed the woman's supervisors after they complained that the clerk's work was not up to par.

Sellers was fired on Tuesday following a public hearing that was attended by 80 residents.

Her two accusers did not appear during the hearing and no one from the public spoke out against her. Fourteen people spoke in her defense.

Sellers denied the allegations during the hearing and said it was unfair that she was not allowed to call witnesses, face her accusers, or enter evidence in her defense.

'Every day people come into my courtroom with a wide variety of charges, and guess what they're all provided? Due process,' she said. 'Why am I not afforded that same opportunity?'

'The petition is simply a listing of inadmissible hearsay statements aimed at creating a false narrative to attack my character and undermine my leadership.'

'With regard to the accusations of a disgruntled former employee, let me be clear: I am not a bully. And any claims to the contrary are slanderous and false.'

The City Council voted 6-1 to fire Sellers, who said she was 'disappointed but not surprised'. She plans to appeal her termination.

'They already made up their minds,' she said. 'It was a formality.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
