«Breaking News» Harry Styles dances with Stella McCartney and Sharleen Spiteri at Childish Gambino concert

Harry Styles had good company on Monday evening as he watched rapper Childish Gambino perform to a packed O2 Arena.

The One Direction star was joined by fashion designer Stella McCartney and Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri as Gambino, the stage name of actor and musician Donald Glover, performed the final date on his This Is America tour.

The show was one of only two to be performed outside the United States, and in video obtained exclusively by MailOnline Styles, 25, joined McCartney and Spiteri after all three made their way into a backstage area to watch Gambino’s encore.

The singer adopted his trademark vintage style by wearing flared trousers and a baker boy cap while dancing close to the sound mixers as the rapper closed his show.

Meanwhile McCartney, 47, looked typically stylish in a cinched black jumpsuit as she mingled with Spiteri, 51, and various members of the production team.

It's understood that Styles attended the show with a female friend, who accompanied him backstage before leaving with the singer later that night.

Don't mind us: McCartney and Spiteri watched the show from a backstage alcove, where they were later joined by Styles 

A source told MailOnline: 'Towards the end of the gig the security let Stella McCartney, Harry Styles and Sharleen Spiteri into the backstage area where the sound mixers were to watch the encore. 

'Stella and Harry danced and chatted although Stella was mainly on the phone! They had bags full of his merchandise. 

'Then Harry came with a girl. She went off quick though.'

It was recently claimed the singer was keen to focus on his acting career instead of making music and had 'no desire' to reunite with One Direction. 

Styles was met with praise for his acting debut in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk, in which he played Alex, a British soldier, in 2017.

One Direction went on a hiatus in January 2016 and the boys, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Styles and former member Zayn Malik, have all enjoyed hugely successful solo careers.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
