«Breaking News» Gorka Marquez reveals he's 'proud' to be on 'nappy duty' in the future

He's set to welcome his first child with actress girlfriend Gemma Atkinson later this year.

And Gorka Marquez has revealed his excitement at becoming a dad, stating that he'd even be 'proud' to change the baby's nappies in the future.

The Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer, 28, told The Mirror: 'I am very happy. I will love to change nappies, I’ve never done it before. I will learn.'

He continued: 'It’s my baby so I will be proud to do it. It’s not a problem doing that. 

'These days everyone does everything. I don’t have any issue with that. I will do everything.'

The Spanish native also opened up about balancing his work life with fatherhood as he prepares for a new Strictly series later this year, revealing Gemma will come down to the show.

The couple announced their big baby news on February 1 this year with an adorable post featuring a picture of Gemma's dogs with signs around their necks - one of which read: 'Guess what... Mum's pregnant!'

The couple met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 before going public with their relationship in February 2018.

Gorka's sweet words come after he and his Emmerdale star girlfriend, 34, recently uploaded a hilarious video to Instagram stories.

In the black and white clip, the couple, stare at each other lovingly and appear to be leaning in to kiss.

However, just before their lips meet, Gemma brings out a pastry and Gorka a doughnut as they both start wolfing them down. 

Alongside the video, Gemma wrote: 'That first bite though'.

Since announcing the pregnancy, Gemma has been keeping fans in the loop with her journey, sharing plenty of snaps and videos.

As an avid fitness fan, the star has also been forced to defend recent videos of her workout regimes, insisting they are completely safe for an expectant woman.

Captioning a recent video of her workout, where her bump was on full display, she wrote: 'I’ve been cleared by my doctor, midwife and [trainer] Evil Steve to do these exercises and before even considering exercise when pregnant YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST GET THE GO AHEAD FROM PROFESSIONALS.

'It doesn’t look like a lot and being honest, for the usual me it would have just been my warm up. For pregnant me though, it was fine.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
