The mother of Love Island star Sophie Gradon has sent a heartfelt message of support to Mike Thalassitis' family after he was found dead aged 26.
Former Miss Newcastle, Sophie, was tragically found dead at her home in Ponteland in June last year, aged 32, after finding fame on the the 2016 series of the ITV reality show.
Mike, who appeared on the same television show a year after Sophie, was found dead in a woodland near his home in Essex on Saturday.

Taking to Twitter, Deborah Gradon wrote: 'To #MikeThalassitis and his bereft Family. Thinking of you, wishing you hope in the midst of sorrow, comfort in the midst of pain. Love in your darkest hours.
'I'm walking the same road as the inconsolabe Mother of #SophieGradon.'
Deborah's message of support to the family of Mike Thalassitis comes after the inquest into Sophie's death was cancelled after her parents received a report.
The late star, who featured on the show's 2016 series, was found dead at her home in Ponteland, near Newcastle, on June 20 last year.

Her boyfriend, Aaron Armstrong, died 20 days later at his home in Blyth, Northumberland.
The inquest, scheduled for next Thursday, was cancelled by Northumberland Coroner's Court.
A statement said: 'Please note that it has been necessary to cancel the hearing date.
'Sophie's parents have requested further time to consider a report which was only recently received.'

Meanwhile, Mike's manager confirmed the shock news of his passing on Saturday evening. The cause of his death is not yet known and police are yet to release any information.
The news of his death comes just months after his best friend Danny Cutts passed away, with further reports suggesting he had been grieving his late grandmother.

Mike rose to fame on Love Island in 2017, where he became a TV sensation after his stint in the famous ITV villa.
The former League One footballer, who comes from a Cypriot family, enjoyed a successful playing career before becoming a beloved reality TV star after appearing on season three of Love Island in 2017.
ITV released a statement over Mike's death, stating: 'Everyone at ITV2 and Love Island are shocked and saddened by this terrible news. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Mike’s family and friends at this very sad time.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
