«Breaking News» Elizabeth Hurley, 53, recreates THAT iconic 1994 Versace gown in racy new shoot

She was made a household name when she attended the Four Weddings and a Funeral London premiere with her then-boyfriend Hugh Grant in a striking Versace gown in 1994.

And 25 years later, Elizabeth Hurley displayed her age-defying beauty as she recreated the iconic designer ensemble in a sizzling new shoot for the April Issue of Harper’s BAZAAR

In a candid interview, the actress, 53, reflected on the night she wore the dress as she admitted she was 'unprepared' for her impact the ensemble holds in today's fashion industry.

While Elizabeth made a bold style statement during the glitzy evening, the Royals star confessed the process of achieving the striking look was less than glamorous.

The honey-blonde beauty shared: 'I was so unprepared for what happened that night.

'I urgently needed to find a dress to wear for Hugh’s premiere, and in those days I had no idea about fashion.

'I remember going to an office where they literally fished a dress out of a white plastic bag. I took it home and did my own hair and makeup, fighting Hugh for the mirror, which wasn’t even full-length, in our tiny one-bedroom flat.'

The mother-of-one, who dated screen star Hugh, 58, for 13 years until 2000, added: 'It was all very unglamorous compared to how things get done these days.'

Looking every inch the vixen, Liz accentuated her envy-inducing physique in the clingy ensemble by the luxury fashion company, embellished with safety pins and a daring thigh-high slit.

The Hampshire native boosted her height in a pair of patent strappy heels, and upped the fashion ante with chunky gold jewellery.

With her locks styled into voluminous waves, the bombshell opted for her signature smokey eye make-up look.

And while the dress is a remake of the original, Liz revealed she can still fit into the racy pin ensemble she wore nearly three decades ago.

Speaking on maintaining her figure, the Aria star detailed: 'I don’t exercise, but I am very active. But just because it still fits doesn’t mean I would wear it today—it wouldn’t be appropriate!'

Liz went on to star in films such as Dangerous Ground, Bedazzled and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery following the night she gained instant media attention.

The actress described the early beginnings of her career as 'a time revisited with affection'.

She elaborated: 'Back then I didn’t think too deeply about anything. I followed my jobs with a Samsonite suitcase, shoot to shoot, movie to movie.'

More recently, Liz played consort of England Queen Helena in E!'s soap opera The Royals from 2015 till its final series in 2018.

Speaking about her leading role and her future career goals, the British siren enthused: 'I had a great time working on that show. I got to kiss a lot of young men in their 20s!

'I’m hoping to break with the femme fatale casting and play a lesbian in my next film', she added.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
