Robyn fans in New York City wanted to keep the energy going from her Madison Square Garden concert, turning a subway platform into an epic afterparty on Friday night.

Social media was abuzz with videos showing the wild commotion as dozens of concertgoers sang along to the 39-year-old singer's hits like 'Dancing On My Own' and 'Call Your Girlfriend.'

The impromptu spectacle took place at 34th Street/Penn Station stop in Manhattan, just a few steps from MSG.

The crowd had been waiting on a Queens bound E train to arrive.

One user posted video of the moment and said that 'after the show is the after party!

'Thank you @robynkonichiwa thank you for everything thank you for giving us music we can cry and dance to on subway platforms #RobynMSG,' another user added, sharing their own video from the wild visual.

And even though the world continued around them - MTA staff could be seen sweeping the stairs leading to the platform - the crowd was hype and couldn't help singing and dancing together.

'I love my city... everyone turning it out in the subway after the @robynkonichiwa concert at MSG... and the MTA worker not even bothered #Robyn #NYC,' said Twitter user Allison Rohan.

The Swedish songstress is currently on the North American leg of her 'Honey' tour.

It is the singer's first album since 'Body Talk', which came out in 2010.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
