The actress had her brown locks parted toward the side and wore diamond earrings, rounding out her ensemble with a black clutch and black heeled booties.

Theron, who promoted her spy thriller Atomic Blonde at the festival two years ago, posed alongside Seth Rogen, her co-star in the romantic comedy. The comic wore an all-blue ensemble of a jacket, T-shirt and slacks for the debut of the film.

Others with the film who appeared on the red carpet included Ravi Patel, O'Shea Jackson, Janet Pierson, and June Diane Raphael.

The cast of the film also features R&B icons Boyz II Men, who delivered a surprise performance of their hit Motownphilly at the screening as Theron danced on the wings.

Theron plays secretary of state and presidential candidate Charlotte Field in the film, while Rogen plays speechwriter Fred Flarsky. In an opposites attract scenario, a romantic relationship develops between the pair.

Rogen last month told Entertainment Weekly that the film doesn't skirt the contemporary political atmosphere, but it's not an overpowering aspect.

'We wanted to make a movie that acknowledged the political realities we all live in without trying to make too heavy-handed directives and at the same time make something that’s highly enjoyable and highly entertaining that appeals to as wide an audience as anything I’ve made,' he said.

Politics was afoot on and off-screen at the festival, as a number of 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls were in Austin to speak, including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, California Sen. Kamala Harris, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

The South African-born stunner, 43, looked ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
