«Breaking News» Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles on Meghan Markle: 'A beautiful, intelligent, independent young woman'

It turns out Tina Knowles is as big of a fan of Meghan Markle as she is of her daughter Beyoncé. 

The 65-year-old musical matriarch praised the 37-year-old Duchess Of Sussex while attending the Friday opening of Soul Of A Nation at Los Angeles' Broad Museum, according to Us Weekly.

Her Lemonade singer daughter previously paid tribute to the new royal during an acceptance speech video for the 2019 Brit Awards.

'I mean, I think she's a beautiful, intelligent, independent young woman,' said the fashion designer.

'I think it's amazing that she got that opportunity and that she is a great representation for our people. It's really wonderful!' she added. 

She opined on Meghan while attending an exhibition of revolutionary works by black artists from the 1960s to the 1980s.

Mostly recently, Beyoncé, 37, praised Meghan while shooting an acceptance video with her husband Jay-Z, 49, for the Best International Group award at the Brit Awards, an honor she previously received while a member of Destiny's Child.

The Formation singer and the 99 Problems rapper appeared in front of a painting of Meghan wearing a crown and  and jewels.

Neither explicitly mentioned the former actress in the short video, but they implicitly compared her to one of the masterwork of world art.

The clip reference the married duo's video for their collaborative track APES***, in which they similarly stood in front of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa in The Louvre.

The duo posted Instagram photos with stills from the acceptance award shoot.

In the caption, which was longer than the actual video message, Beyoncé referenced her former pop collaborators, as well as the wife of Prince Harry, 34.

'Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group,' she wrote. 'I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle. How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova.

'In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy,' she concluded.

It was announced that Meghan and Harry were expecting a child in October.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
