Zayn Malik has apologised for being a 's**t person' in a now-deleted tweet.
The singer, 26, took to his Twitter platform on Saturday with the message: 'I'd like [to] apologise for basically being a s**t person' - which raked in more than 14,000 retweets before he swiftly removed all traces of it.
While the root of his message is unclear, it comes after his former One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson admitted their friendship has soured since he left the band in 2015.

Speaking recently on Dan Wootton's podcast, Louis told how they kept in touch for a while following Zayn's departure.
However, he admitted that it 'bugged' him that Zayn didn't show up for his X Factor performance in 2016, shortly after the death of his mother Johannah Deakin.
Louis said: 'I had a couple of calls with him after I lost my mum, and all the boys had agreed to come to that performance, and he didn’t show, so that really bugged me.
'It was just seeing everyone there–Harry, Niall, and Liam–that was what I needed that night, that support.

'So on the other end of the spectrum, it kind of really showed. So, eh, I hope he’s alright, but...'
Louis was then reported to have given a one-fingered salute to the microphone during the interview.
The X Factor judge suffered another family tragedy recently when his sister Félicité, 18, died of a suspected cardiac arrest in her flat in Earl's Court, London earlier this month.
Félicité was an aspiring fashion designer who had 1.3 million followers on Instagram.

The last documented time the Victoria's Secret model acknowledged her beau on social media was on October 21.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
