Victoria Beckham said her second son was worried about giving up football in case it was like letting down his dad

Victoria Beckham has revealed her second son Romeo was heartbroken when he decided to give football up because he said 'I don't want to let daddy down'.

But the former Spice Girl told him 'Daddy just wants you to be happy'. 

'All three boys used to have contracts with Arsenal,' she said. 

'Brooklyn was the first to say he didn't want to play any more. And then Romeo decided he didn't want to do it either,' she told the Financial Times.

'I remember Romeo sitting in the bath getting really upset saying, 'I don't want to let Daddy down'. 

The designer, 44, also said that she is a 'self-diagnosed dyslexic' and that the condition 'doesn't run in our family, it gallops'.

None of her children are particularly academic. Brooklyn is an aspiring photographer, Romeo wants to be a tennis player, Cruz, 14, is a singer and dancer, while Harper, seven, is a 'real little tomboy'. Dyslexia can cause problems with reading, writing, and spelling.

Mrs Beckham also said she is worried about turning 45.

'I don't mind how I look at 44,' she said. 'But I don't like how it sounds. 'Victoria Beckham, 44, went shopping.' 'Victoria Beckham, 44,' for everything that I do...'

Mrs Beckham also said that although she likes everything her husband of 20 years wears, he isn't as keen on her fashion - even though she runs an international fashion brand.

She said: 'Someone asked if I like how David dressed. And I said: 'I think you look great in everything.' Because he does. And then I asked him: 'Do you like the way that I dress?'

Mrs Beckham said her four children are not the most academic and prefer artistic pursuits

'And here's where I'm thinking: I've got this. I'm married to David Beckham, but of course he's going to like how I dress. And then he said: 'Well, now you mention it, why do you wear those jumpers with those big sleeves? And why do you wear such baggy trousers?' she laughs. 'Mr Beckham didn't like it.'

Talking about how she stays so trim, Miss Beckham admitted that on a daily basis she does 'about 7.5km [on an incline] on the treadmill, and then my trainer comes.'

She added: 'I am quite aware that I'm really very disciplined. And it does start to make me sound very strange. But, it's just the way that I am. 

'And, also, [working out] is one of the only things that I do for me. I go to work, and I come home and I'm with the kids. So it's just my thing.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
