«Breaking News» Vanessa Hudgens gets a jump start on spring wearing striped sundress while out to lunch with mom

Things are heating up in LA.

And Vanessa Hudgens made it clear that spring has sprung while grabbing coffee as she was on-the-go with mom Gina in LA Saturday. 

The High School Musical talent, 30, looked ever-stylish in a linen dress with a cupped, button-down bodice.

Vanessa's frock was striped with thin blue bands and swept down to mid-calf to meet up with a pair of nude slingbacks with a chunky heel and black toe.

She played up the retro edge of her look with a scarf, skinny sunglasses, and drop earrings. Layers of chains provided her usual boho flair.

Proving her natural beauty, the glowing Princess Switch actress went makeup free. 

The California native made sure both she and her mom were ready for the day as she grabbed two cups of iced coffee, sipping on one as she made her way off.

Vanessa's mom demonstrated where the star got her expert taste in fashion from wearing a sharp black dress with gold buttons down the front. 

All the while, the mother-of-two tied her hair up with a floral scarf for a fuss-free look.

Gina and Vanessa's  then headed off in the actress's car together.

Before getting coffee with mom, Vanessa raved about Gasper Noe's latest film, Climax, on her Instagram.

Praising the experimental psycological horror flick back on Thursday, she wrote: 'To say that @gasparnoeofficial @climaxmovie was a titillating, visceral and traumatizing acid trip is still an understatement,' before adding the hashtag '#mastermind.'

While Vanessa isn't attached to the project, she has plenty of her own projects in the works.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
