«Breaking News» Two men caught on video assaulting a black man during Charlottesville rally are still unidentified

It's been a year and a half since the deadly white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, but two men seen on camera assaulting a black man in a parking garage remain unidentified.

The two men at large have come to be known as 'Red Beard' and 'Sunglasses' after they were caught on video beating DeAndre Harris on August 12, 2017, during the Unite the Rite rally.

Charlottesville police detective Declan Hickey told The Washington Post that the investigation into the incident has hit a dead end.

Hickey said that he's 'pretty much exhausted everything I can do with this case'.

He said the best hopes for identifying the men are if they 'pop back on the radar' at another rally or 'piss off their wife or girlfriend'.

Harris was severely injured when the group of men bashed him with sticks, a riot shied, and their fists in the Market Street Parking Garage.

He suffered a gash to his head that needed staples to close, a broken wrist, and numerous cuts and bruises.

Four men are currently serving time in jail or prison over the attack.

All of the men have been linked to white nationalist, pro-Confederacy or anti-government beliefs.

None of them knew each other before the attack.

Last month, Tyler Watkins Davis, 50, of Florida, entered an Alford plea.

Davis acknowledged prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him of malicious wounding without admitting guilt.

Prosecutor Nina-Alice Antony said video shows Davis striking Harris in the head with a tire thumper, which resembles a club.

His attorney, Matthew L. Engle, didn't dispute Harris' injuries, but said he would have argued Davis acted in 'imperfect self-defense' if the case had gone to trial.

Davis faces up to 20 years when he's sentenced in August.

In January, Daniel Borden, of Ohio, was sentenced to just under four years in prison for his role in the beating.

Borden was sentenced to 20 years, but most of that sentence was suspended.

His active sentence amounts to three years and 10 months.

Last year, Borden entered an Alford plea to malicious wounding.

The plea means Borden did not admit guilt, but acknowledged prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him.

During his sentencing hearing, Borden told the judge that he is not a bigot and is remorseful. He also apologized to Harris, who was not in the courtroom at the time.

In August 2018, Alex Ramos of Georgia was jailed for six years and Jacob Goodwin of Arkansas for eight years on malicious wounding charges.

Video of the sickening beating showed Harris being chased into the garage before Goodwin knocked him to the ground with the shield.

The group of men then savagely bashed him as he tried to crawl away before leaving him for dead.

Judge Richard Moore accepted a jury recommendation that Goodwin be jailed for 10 years and get a $20,000 fine and empathy training.

However, he suspended two years of the sentence, added five years of probation on top, and cut the fine to $5,000.

Judge Moore said the video showed one of the most brutal one-sided beatings he'd ever seen and did not buy that Goodwin attacked him out of fear.

Moore said Ramos' actions were 'evil' and cited a Facebook post where he bragged about the attack on Harris.

The Unite the Right rally had been organized by white nationalists in part to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen Robert E. Lee. The day was marked by violence.

Heather Heyer was killed and dozens were injured when a car driven by James Alex Fields Jr, of Maumee, Ohio, plowed into a crowd of people who gathered to protest the white nationalists.

Fields, 21, was convicted of first-degree murder and other charges in December 2018.

The jury recommended a sentence of life, plus 419 years. His sentencing is scheduled for March 29.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
