«Breaking News» Triple stabbing at Birmingham nightclub yards from spot mother confronted Sajid Javid

A triple stabbing in a nightclub happened just yards away from where Sajid Javid was challenged by a mother over knife crime yesterday.

The victims were attacked at the Medleys club, Northfields, Birmingham, just hours after the Home Secretary was quizzed about the recent spate of killings across the country.

Three men, thought to be in their 20s, were rushed to hospital after being stabbed at around 2.20am.

Jenny Birch from force CID said: 'This is a shocking incident where weapons were sadly used again causing injuries to three people, we need to determine what happened and who is responsible.

'Officers are addressing the rising surge in violence and knife crime.

'We continue our extra patrols and are still utilising our extensive powers to search people without the need to suspect they are carrying weapons.'

She added: 'We are committed to tackling the rise in violence in the city and will robustly deal with those intent on causing harm within our communities.'

It came the morning after a 50-year-old woman confronted Mr Javid on the street after her two children were targeted by blade-wielding gangs in recent weeks.

Fiona Raychell from Kings Norton revealed her 15-year-old son had been mugged at knifepoint in Highbury Park, Kings Heath, a fortnight ago by a gang of 10 thugs.

She was still holding her shopping bags as she asked Mr Javid: 'What are you doing about it, though?'

Ms Raychell pressed the Home Secretary for answers and was recorded shaking with anger.

Birmingham has seen several knife attacks in recent weeks.

Mohammed Sidali, was stabbed outside Joseph Chamberlain College in Balsall Heath, Birmingham, on February 13.

Abdullah Muhammad was fatally stabbed near a park in the Small Heath area at around 8pm on February 20.

And Hazrat Umar, 18, was stabbed to death as he walked to a gym in Birmingham on February 25.

It is currently the only city to introduce emergency section 60 stop-and-search powers, which allows officers to search suspects without 'reasonable grounds'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
