«Breaking News» R. Kelly talks his own sexual abuse and going to McDonalds in new interview footage with Gayle King

R. Kelly claims that being a sex abuse survivor has 'absolutely not' affected his personal life in his explosive sit-down interview with Gayle King, and finally explains why he scurried off to McDonalds after posting bail from jail.

Never-before-seen footage of Kelly's CBS interview with King was aired in a one-hour special on Friday.

In the special King candidly asked Kelly to reflect upon his history and questioned whether his own experience suffering sexual abuse as a child has affected his behavior.

'Absolutely not,' Kelly retorted without missing a beat.

In his 2012 autobiography Soulacoaster he detailed how he was abused by an older female relative from when he was around 7 through the age of 15.

He defended himself further claiming the abuse hasn't heavily influenced his life, adding that his songs are 'freaky' and 'very sexual'.

After Kelly posted $100,000 bail and was released from jail for sexual abuse charges, he headed straight to McDonald's.

According to the Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly, the R&B singer is notorious for hanging around malls and McDonald's allegedly preying on young girls and luring them with his fame.

After King reprimanded Kelly for 'yukking it up at McDonald's' following his prison release, he defended the restaurant stop saying, 'That M stands for "mom". That's my story today'.

'My favorite restaurant, OK, is McDonald's 'cause I love my mom and I got memories of me and my mom when we used to go to McDonald's and we could only afford a Danish and a coffee, OK,' he said to King during their CBS interview.

'What's the crime in that?' he added.

On February 25 after he posted bail he was pictured sitting and enjoying a Big Mac Burger, fries, and a coke at a downtown Chicago McDonald's.

Fans clamored in the parking lot blasting his music as he ate inside.

King also questioned the singer on his accusers who claim the star sexually abused them and abused his power over them in a controlling manner, dictating when they could eat or use the bathroom.

'I'm not a controlling person,' Kelly said.

'It’s just that I am in control of my household. If you live with me, I consider myself the king of the castle and you’re the queen,' he added.

He defended his actions saying the same accusations could be thrown at 'anybody famous'.

Kelly famously dismissed his accusers as liars conspiring against him in his 80-minute interview.

In the Friday special King challenged him asking, 'What makes you so special they want to tell a lie about you – or, what makes you so unlikable?'

Kelly said his problem is that he is so 'likable'. He added his accusers are seeking revenge 'because things didn't work out'.

A jarring moment in Friday's footage is when King explains the #MeToo movement to Kelly when he demands to know why his accusers are coming out now, in some cases years after the alleged abuse.

She explained that women 'now feel comfortable speaking out, and they now believe they will be believed'.

'It's a different time, Robert. And people feel more comfortable about speaking out now,' she continued.

Kelly simply responded saying, 'What do you mean?'

As of Friday R. Kelly was back in jail for failure to pay child support to his former wife, who he owes a whopping $161,000.

Never-before-seen footage of Kelly’s CBS ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
