Police are investigating new allegations that R&B singer R. Kelly raped a 13-year-old girl over a four year period and once gave her herpes.
The alleged victim, who is now 30, has claimed Kelly lured her to his Detroit hotel room for sex when she was just 13 years old in December 2001, Chicago's CBS 2 reports.
The woman told investigators that she was visiting her mother in Michigan at the time and was introduced to the singer by a friend who also happened to be Kelly's assistant.
She claims she had sex again with Kelly in a Detroit recording studio several weeks after their first sexual encounter.

The woman alleges that she then visited Kelly at his Atlanta home over the next four years.
She claims Kelly gave her herpes when she was 17.
Detroit Police Chief James Craig said they were eagerly waiting to speak to the alleged victim and had plans to fly her into Michigan for an interview.
Kelly was charged last month in Chicago with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse after he was accused of sexually abusing four women years ago, including three who were underage at the time.
The 52-year-old singer has denied wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile, Kelly was taken into custody on Wednesday in Chicago during a child support hearing. Kelly told a judge he could not pay $161,000 in back child support he owes to his ex-wife and mother of his three children, Andrea Kelly.
The new underage sex allegation out of Detroit came just hours after the R&B singer cried and ranted about being 'assassinated' by the sex abuse allegations during an interview with CBS This Morning's Gayle King.

Kelly called his accusers liars and alleged that people are after him for his money. He said he never sexually abused women or controlled their lives.
'All of them are lying,' Kelly said in segments of the interview broadcast Wednesday. 'I have been assassinated.'
At one point during the interview, Kelly angrily stood up and started pacing, his voice breaking as he yelled: 'I didn't do this stuff! This is not me!'
'I'm fighting for my (expletive) life.'
Kelly, who denied ever having sex with anyone under 17, married 15-year-old R&B singer Aaliyah D. Haughton in Detroit in 1994 when he was 27.
The recording artist has been trailed for decades by allegations that he violated underage girls and women and held some as virtual slaves.
Kelly has consistently denied any sexual misconduct and was acquitted of child pornography charges in 2008. Those charges centered on a graphic video that prosecutors said showed him having sex with a girl as young as 13.
He and the girl allegedly seen with him denied they were in the 27-minute video, even though the picture quality was good and witnesses testified it was them. She did not take the stand. Kelly could have gotten 15 years in prison.
R. Kelly claimed in an explosive interview on CBS on Wednesday that his much younger girlfriends' parents 'sold' them to him but insisted their relationship was above board and claimed to have never had sex with them when they were underage
In a separate interview, two women who live with Kelly - Azriel Clary and Jocelyn Savage (above) - have rejected allegations that they are being controlled by the musician
As part of the current case, prosecutors have described a witness who had access to videotapes showing Kelly having sex with a 14-year-old girl. The witness turned the tape over to authorities and identified the girl, who repeatedly states her age on the footage, according to court documents.
A condition of Kelly's bail forbids him from having any contact with females younger than 18.
In a separate interview, two women who live with Kelly - Azriel Clary and Jocelyn Savage - have rejected allegations that they are being controlled by the musician.
Kelly suggested during his interview that the woman's parents were in it for the money and blamed them for his relationship with their daughter, saying they brought her to watch him perform when she was a teenager.
A lawyer for the couple bristled at the allegation, saying Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage never asked for or received money from Kelly. The couple said they have not spoken to their 23-year-old daughter for two years and asked Kelly to make her available to talk to them.
'At no point did this family sell their daughter to anyone or provide their daughter for anything for money,' attorney Gerald Griggs said Wednesday during a news conference.
Savage and Clary are not believed to be among the four women Kelly has been charged with sexually assaulting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
