«Breaking News» MasterChef Australia shares an exciting first look at the 2019 season with dramatic new trailer

Channel 10 has shared an exciting first look trailer for the upcoming eleventh season of MasterChef Australia. 

The promo clip shows returning judges Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris mentoring a new group of contestants. 

Foot critic Matt says in a voiceover: 'Just getting that one apron with that big black logo on it, that's the key to your dreams.'

Gary then adds: 'There's this incredible place, this is where dreams are made.'

Later, contestants are seen running around the MasterChef kitchen whipping up delicious dishes as This Is Me from The Greatest Showman plays in the background.  

One amateur chef admits he applied for the show because he doesn't want to live with any 'regrets'.

'I don't want to get old and look back and have regrets, "I should have tried this, I should have given this a go",' he says. 

As reported by TV Tonight, MasterChef Australia believed to be returning to screens in April or early May.  

British culinary queen Nigella Lawson, 59, will also appear as a guest judge.

Nigella was in Australia in February on a speaking tour, so it's possible she filmed her cameo around this time. 

Billie McKay, a previous winner of the show, is likewise set to return to the franchise as a mentor to the contestants.  

Former runners-up, Poh Ling Yeow and Matt Sinclair, have confirmed their involvement, too.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
