Ines Basic was a lightning rod for controversy early on after she said her husband Bronson Norrish gave her an 'inbred vibe' before comparing him to a 'lesbian who works at McDonald's'.

The Bosnian bride also said that she wanted to 'punch him in the jaw'.

She later screamed obscenities at Bronson during their honeymoon, which was branded 'verbal abuse' by viewers.

Things went from bad to worse for the couple during one of the commitment ceremonies when Bronson called Ines a 'c**t'.

He was immediately reprimanded for his bad language by relationship expert Mel Schilling.

However, this sparked a viewer backlash because Mel only lectured Bronson over his use of the C-word and failed to also address Ines's 'abusive' behaviour.

A petition demanding Mel be sacked later attracted 70,000 signatures.

The show eventually moved from bad language to physical assault when brides Cyrell Paule and Martha Kalifatidis clashed.

During an altercation, Cyrell screamed aggressively at Martha before lunging towards her and grabbing her robe. At this moment, a male producer was forced to intervene.

Cyrell then smashed a bowl of fruit on the ground before storming out of the apartment in a fit of rage.

Meanwhile, Ines was one of the participants this year accused of glorifying infidelity after she engaged in an affair with Elizabeth Sobinoff's husband Sam Ball.

During one of their secret meet ups, Ines and Sam enjoyed a steamy on-camera romp in a hotel room.

Their behaviour was later repeated by Jessika Power and Daniel Webb, who also had a secret affair before consummating their relationship on camera.

Rob McKnight, a former Channel Nine executive-turned-media commentator, believes the bedroom scene involving Jessika and Dan went 'too far'.

McKnight, the editor of industry website TV Blackbox, said: 'I think Channel Nine might be in trouble with this one. To me, the scene was certainly confronting for a PG timeslot and I wouldn't want my kids watching it.

'While the couple didn't actually engage in sex on screen, they were on top of each other in a very sexual way.'

It comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed that The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has been flooded with complaints about the show.

In a statement on Tuesday, a spokesperson for the media watchdog confirmed that all complaints had been forwarded on to the 'licensee for consideration'.

Meanwhile, a Change.org petition calling for the series to be 'banned and taken off air' recently reached 20,000 signatures.

One viewer that signed the petition wrote: 'MAFS is promoting disgusting behaviour all for the ratings... Shame on you Channel Nine!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
