Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani squared off with CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer in a tense interview concerning the Mueller report and Bill Barr's letter to congress.
Giuliani, who in several outbursts demanded the network apologize for their coverage concerning the President's alleged collusion, voiced little concern of the failure of Trump's associates to report intelligence offers from Russian affiliates.
In his letter, Attorney General Barr disclosed that Mueller's investigation did not establish any evidence of collusion but did find 'multiple offers from Russian affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign'.
Such intel is believed to include information that would 'harm' Hilary Clinton's presidential bid, help Trump's 'election chances' and 'undermine public faith' in US democracy.
Rudy Giuliani admitted he 'would've reported' any contacts offering harmful intel, knowing the potential legal implications such intelligence could later have
Wolf Blitzer asked whether the President regrets that his associates failed to report those contacts to the FBI, Giuliani laughs, insisting that 'not that many' met with Russians and Blitzer is 'missing the forest through the trees'
At least 16 Trump campaign officials - including Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr - are said to have spoken to Russian affiliates during the 2016 bid.
But asked whether the President regrets that his associates failed to report those contacts to the FBI, Giuliani laughs, insisting that 'not that many' met with Russians and Blitzer is 'missing the forest through the trees', during an interview on Tuesday.
Giuliani goes on to add that Trump campaign officials also met with affiliates of Great Britain and France in the same time frame, eradicating any need for adverse action.
Blitzer however rebutted the claim with '[Great Britain and] France are allies...Russia is a hostile power.'
The news anchor then presses the lawyer with the question of what he would've done in the same situation, Giuliani concedes 'I would've reported it. Because I would've know that it could be a potential violation of the law.'
'It gets you into a whole assertoric conversation about is that a campaign contribution or not.'
He insisted, however, that the matter was a small point in context to the accusations of 'treason' put forward against the president over the past two years.
'There is nothing illegal about not reporting a crime...there is no strict duty to report it.'
Giuliani admitted that, contrary to Trump's assessment, he doesn't believe Robert Mueller (above) acted honorably during the two-year investigation
Trump said the findings of Mueller's report 'couldn't have gone any better' and backed calls to make the investigation's dossier public
In his letter, Attorney General Bill Barr (above) disclosed that Mueller's investigation did not establish any evidence of collusion but did find 'multiple offers from Russian affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign'
In the same discussion, Giuliani admitted that, contrary to Trump's assessment, he doesn't believe Mueller acted honorably during the two-year investigation.
'I would have to disagree with my client on that,' Giuliani said.
He elaborated by saying their variation of opinion likely stems from the fact he was 'in the trenches' more than Trump, and developed a 'mixed view' of Muller's investigative methods.
On Tuesday, Attorney-General Barr announced he will release a scaled-down version of Mueller's final report to the public in the 'weeks, not months' to come.
It's not clear how much of the findings will be made public, and how much of it will be in Mueller's own words or how much might reflect Barr's summary of the special counsel's findings.
Barr gave a quartet of House and Senate Judiciary Committee leaders a summary of the report on Sunday, but the full document remains classified.
'It could not have been better,' Trump said of the four-page summary, which found the president hadn't colluded with Russia to affect the outcome of his election.
He told senators he was given a 'clean bill of health,' according to those in the room.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
