A key Donald Trump adviser demanded the resignation of one of the president's most aggressive critics on Monday, a day after a report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller dismissed claims that Trump's campaign colluded with Russia to win in 2016.
'Adam Schiff – talk about an oxymoron – this man heads the Intelligence Committee in the House!' Kellyanne Conway said on 'Fox & Friends.'
'He ought to resign today,' she said, fuming about the California Democrat's long string of pronouncements about the Russia scandal being 'probably bigger than Watergate,' and his claims that 'there is plenty of evidence of collusion.'
The Intelligence Committee chairman 'has been on every TV show 50 times a day for practically the last two years, promising Americans that this president would be impeached or indicted,' Conway mocked.

Her anger at one of Trump's loudest and most consistent antagonists took shape as the White House shifted from defense to offense.
'Adam Schiff should resign. He has no right, as somebody who's been peddling a lie day after day after day, unchallenged – unchallenged and not under oath – somebody should have put him under oath and said, "Do you have evidence? Where is it?"'
Speaking to reporters on the White House's North Lawn after the interview, the frequent Trump spokeswoman said calling for Schiff's resignation represented 'my personal opinion,' and not the view of the White House.
But she blasted the gaggle of journalists for depending so often on Schiff for their reporting.
'Many of you, quite certainly many others who aren't represented here, have allowed this person, as ranking member and now chairman of the Intelligence Committee, to just let a lie fly for two years,' she said.
Schiff, she claimed, had been 'literally going out, not under oath, and saying day after day, moment after moment, full of vim and vigor, snark and bark, "and there's a mountain of evidence of collusion against the president, it may actually be bigger than Watergate."

'If he wants to be the chairman of the Intelligence Committee,' Conway blasted, 'he should get off the TV and go and do his job.'
'He hasn't been doing that, but he has unfettered access to all of you.'
Conway also complained about 'advocacy journalism' in politics, saying some in the press should face career consequences for filing story after story about Russian conspiracies that turned out to be baseless.
She compared that situation to the aftermath of the 2016 election, when editors and publishers openly engaged in soul-searching about how they missed the Trump phenomenon in their reporting.
'There is not a single person in the media [who] got the 2016 elections so chronically and embarrassingly wrong [who] lost their jobs,' Conway said.
'And they probably won't here too.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
