And Jason Priestley spoke out for the first time to honor his longtime friend Luke Perry following his sudden death on Monday at the age of 52.
Priestley took to Instagram with an image of the guys from their '90s heyday, shared below a more current photo where he admitted he was 'in so much pain' with the loss of Perry.

'It's taken me a couple of days to figure out how to write this,' he wrote. 'My dear friend of 29 years, Luke Perry, was one of those truly special people who really cared.
'Luke was not only a star, he was an incredibly bright light that was extinguished far too soon… and that is why I, and so many others, are in so much pain today.'
Jason portrayed Brandon Walsh on the hit Aaron Spelling drama Beverly Hills, 90210, while Luke played his best friend, Dylan McKay.

'If you had the good fortune to know Luke, or to have ever crossed his path, I know you are sad today as well,' Priestley wrote in the caption.
'The candle that burns twice as bright only burns for half as long… you burned oh, so brightly Luke… Goodnight Sweet Prince.'
Perry suffered a stroke at his Sherman Oaks, California home less than one week ago and was rushed to the hospital, where he remained until his death on Monday.
'If you had the good fortune to know Luke, or to have ever crossed his path, I know you are sad today as well,' Priestley wrote in the caption; seen together in 2013
Former cast members shared sweet sentiments and kind words about their friend, who starred on the coming-of-age show for six seasons before returning as a special guest for the final two seasons.
'My heart is broken,' Jennie Garth told People.
'He meant so much to so many. Such a very special person. I share my deep sadness with his family and all who loved him. Such a terrible loss.'

Ian Ziering, who portrayed Steve Sanders, wrote: 'Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we’ve shared over the last thirty years.
'May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here, for those you leave behind.'

A revival of the show was confirmed just one week ago with Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling confirmed to return for six episodes ordered by Fox.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
