«Breaking News» James Corden takes his son Max, 7, for a smooth spin in a £250K Aston Martin convertible in leafy LA

He juggles his high-flying career as a comedic television personality with being the dad to his three children. 

And James Corden enjoyed some father-son time with Max when he took him for a cool ride in an Aston Martin convertible around Los Angeles, California on Saturday. 

The funnyman, 40, sat comfortably behind the wheel of his £250,000 vehicle, with his seven-year-old son in the front passenger seat.

James and Max took off for the day in the bright sunshine as they spent some quality time together without the girls. 

James was dressed for the sunny weather in a navy blue T-shirt and he donned a pair of black sunglasses to keep the rays out of his eyes. 

The comedian's swanky set of wheels is estimated to have set him back a whopping £250,000.

Aston Martin Convertibles have a retail price that escalates from a modest starting price of £211,950.

Meanwhile back at home, no doubt the TV star's wife Julia was entertaining their four-year-old daughter Carey and one-year-old tot Charlotte.

Last year, the dad-of-three joked fatherhood was a 'nightmare' as he discussed the everyday struggles of daddy duties any parent can relate to in a humorous fashion.

He told PEOPLE in July last year: 'It's just a nightmare. I got back from Liverpool on Sunday and we thought, "Let's take the kids out. Let's go for lunch". I mean, it's a joke. 

'We actually went to a place at the end of our road for lunch, and we looked like we were fleeing the country. 

'You’re asking for the check before you’ve sat down. You’re just shoveling pasta and butter into one of their mouths as you’re trying to eat yours.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
